Preparing for New Life
Part 17
The warm glow of the evening sun streamed through the windows, casting a cozy ambiance over their home. Jacquie smiled, feeling grateful for the sense of normalcy that had returned to their lives. After a lovely evening of dinner and conversation, Noah stood up and stretched, yawning widely. "I'm exhausted," he said, looking down at Jacquie with a tired expression. "How about we get a good night's rest, and we can go shopping for furniture for the nursery tomorrow?" Jacquie nodded enthusiastically, feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of starting to prepare for their baby's arrival. "That sounds like a great plan," she said, standing up and stretching her arms over her head. Noah smiled, pulling her into a gentle hug. "I'm looking forward to it," he said. "I've been thinking about what kind of furniture we should get, and I have a few ideas." Jacquie laughed, feeling happy and content. "I'm sure it's all very exciting," she said, playfully rolling her eyes. As they made their way to bed, Jacquie couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building inside her. She was excited to start this new chapter of their lives, and she was grateful to have Noah by her side. The night was filled with sweet dreams of their baby's arrival, and Jacquie woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. She smiled as she looked over at Noah, who was still fast asleep. "Good morning," she whispered, gently touching his face. Noah stirred, opening his eyes and smiling up at her. "Good morning," he said, his voice husky with sleep. Jacquie laughed, feeling happy and in love. "Today's the day," she said. "We're going shopping for nursery furniture." Noah grinned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "I'm excited," he said. "Let's get started." As they got dressed and ready for the day, Jacquie couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. She was ready to start preparing for their baby's arrival, and she was grateful to have Noah by her side.
