"Turbulent Waters"

The sun was setting over the isolated island, casting a warm orange glow over the sprawling campus of the all-girls school. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the distant chatter of students heading to their dormitories. But amidst the peaceful atmosphere, a storm was brewing. Mai Sato, a college student and unnie to a group of kouhou, had been struggling with her temper. Her partner, Haruka Yoshika, had always been understanding and patient, but Mai's behavior had been escalating over the past few weeks. It started with small things – a misplaced book, a forgotten appointment – but had quickly spiraled out of control. Mai had been beating Hanabi Sato, her kouhou and partner of Aria Karin, over the smallest infractions. Ruka Takahashi, Mai's partner and a trained nurse, had noticed the wounds on Hanabi's back and had confronted Mai about it. But Mai had refused to listen, and the situation had only worsened. Ruka had been seething with anger, and it wasn't until Hanabi's wounds reopened that she snapped. In the office, Ruka had pinned Mai down, her eyes blazing with fury. "Why did you hit her again, Mai? You know how much she's been hurt already!" Mai struggled beneath her, but Ruka held firm. Just as it seemed like Ruka was about to lose control, Haruka walked into the office, her expression calm but concerned. "Ruka, calm down. What's going on?" she asked, her voice soothing. Ruka's gaze flicked to Haruka, her eyes welling up with tears. "You want me to calm down? Look what she did to Hanabi!" she exclaimed, jerking her head towards Hanabi, who was sitting on a nearby couch, her back to them. Haruka's eyes widened as she took in Hanabi's bruises. Her face went white with rage, and she strode over to Hanabi, gently turning her around. The sight of the fresh wounds and bruises on Hanabi's back made Haruka's eyes flash with anger. The scene erupted into chaos as Haruka's voice rose in fury. "Mai, what have you done?" she demanded, her hands shaking with anger. As the confrontation continued, Yuu Tanaka, another of Haruka's partners, tried to intervene, but Midori Suzuki and Ruka held her back. "Let Haruka handle this, Yuu. She needs to know how serious this is," Midori said firmly. When they finally made it back to their dormitory, Haruka grabbed Mai, her eyes blazing with fury. "We're going to talk about this," she growled, dragging Mai into the bedroom. Yuu tried to follow, but Midori and Ruka blocked her way. "Let her handle it, Yuu. Mai needs to face the consequences of her actions," Ruka said, her voice firm. As the door closed behind Haruka and Mai, the tension in the room became palpable. The other kouhou, Saki, Nozomi, Susuki, Rin, Satsuki, and Maki, exchanged worried glances. They knew that Mai's behavior had been erratic, but they had no idea it was this bad. What happens next?
