"New Beginnings"
Part 1
Regina Mills, known to her fans as the pop sensation Reggie, stood in front of her mirror, adjusting her fitted blazer and making sure her hair was perfect. She was about to head out to a meeting with her team to discuss her upcoming tour and new album. As she was about to leave, her assistant, Emma, burst into the room. "Regina, I have some news," Emma said, out of breath. "You've been assigned a new bodyguard. His name is Robin Hood, and he's...well, let's just say he's got a reputation." Regina raised an eyebrow. "What kind of reputation?" Emma hesitated before answering, "He's a bit of a loner, and he's been known to be...prickly. But your manager thinks he's the best in the business, and he's agreed to take the job." Regina sighed, not thrilled about having a new bodyguard. She had always been able to take care of herself, but she knew it was part of the job now. She nodded at Emma, and her assistant left to fetch the new bodyguard. A few minutes later, Robin Hood walked into the room. Regina's eyes widened as she took in his rugged good looks and broad shoulders. He was even more handsome than she had imagined. "Robin," she said, trying to sound casual. "Welcome to the team." Robin nodded, his piercing blue eyes scanning the room before settling on her. "Ma'am," he said, his deep voice sending a shiver down her spine. Regina felt a spark of attraction, but she quickly pushed it aside. She wasn't here to get involved with her bodyguard; she was here to work. As they left for the meeting, Regina couldn't help but notice the way Robin's eyes lingered on her, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She pushed the feeling aside, focusing on the task at hand. The meeting was a blur, with Regina and her team discussing everything from tour dates to song choices. Robin stood guard, his eyes never leaving hers. As they left the meeting, Regina turned to him and asked, "So, Robin, what makes you think you can handle protecting me?" Robin smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I've been doing this job for a long time, ma'am. I can handle myself." Regina raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure I like being called 'ma'am,'" she said, trying to keep her tone light. Robin shrugged. "I'll try to remember that." As they walked to the car, Regina couldn't help but feel a spark of attraction towards her new bodyguard. But she was determined to keep it professional. Little did she know, their relationship was about to get a lot more complicated.
