"Love's New Horizons"
Part 3
The memories of our graduation day were still fresh in my mind as I looked at Hange, my husband, lying beside me on the beach. It had been a few months since we walked off the stage, diploma in hand, and started our new life together. Our wedding was a beautiful, intimate affair, surrounded by close friends and family. And now, we were on our dream honeymoon, soaking up the sun and enjoying each other's company in a secluded paradise. As I watched, Hange shifted into his dragon form, his body transforming into a magnificent creature with scales that shone like gold in the sunlight. He stretched his wings, letting out a mighty roar as he took to the skies. I laughed with joy, feeling the wind in my hair as he flew above me, his wings beating powerful and strong. Hange swooped down, flapping his wings to create a breeze that cooled my skin. I shielded my eyes, watching as he performed an aerial acrobatic, his body twisting and turning in mid-air. It was exhilarating to see him so free, so full of life. As he landed beside me, I reached out to touch his scales, feeling the warmth of his body. He nuzzled my hand, his eyes shining with happiness. We spent the rest of the day basking in the sun, enjoying each other's company, and taking long walks along the beach. Weeks passed, and our honeymoon was going smoothly. We had settled into a comfortable routine, spending our days exploring the island and our nights cuddled up together. But one day, Hange's behavior changed. He became more alert, his senses on high as he scanned the surroundings. As we lay on the beach, he suddenly sat up, his ears perked up and his snout twitching. He put his snout against my stomach, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. I looked at him curiously, wondering what was wrong. And then, it happened. Hange's eyes lit up, and a huge grin spread across his face. He let out a joyful roar, his body trembling with excitement. I looked at him, confused, and that's when I saw it. His snout was still pressed against my stomach, and I realized what he had sensed. I was pregnant. But not just with one child – multiple dragon eggs were growing inside me. I felt a mix of emotions: shock, excitement, and a little fear. But Hange's joy was infectious. He was over the moon, his happiness radiating from every pore. He pulled back, his eyes shining with tears, and looked at me. "Ethan, my love," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "We're going to have a dragon family." I smiled, feeling my heart swell with love for this incredible creature. "We sure are, Hange," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Hange wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close as he let out another roar of joy. I laughed, feeling the excitement build inside me. Our new adventure was just beginning, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held.
