**A Week of Constant Fear**
Part 3
A week had passed since that fateful night, and Jasmine's life had become a never-ending cycle of anxiety and dread. She walked the halls of the castle with a sense of unease, always looking over her shoulder, expecting Hailey to appear at any moment. The memory of that night lingered, a constant reminder of her vulnerability. Jasmine's days blended together in a blur of fear and uncertainty. She had become withdrawn, avoiding the other servants and ladies-in-waiting, afraid of being discovered or worse. She had no idea when Hailey might strike again, or if she even would. The not knowing was what tormented her the most. Her only solace was the few moments she spent in the castle's gardens, where she could escape the suffocating atmosphere of the castle. She would sit on a bench, surrounded by the beauty of nature, and try to clear her mind. But even there, she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Hailey had been distant, seemingly content with having asserted her control over Jasmine. But Jasmine knew better. She knew that Hailey was just biding her time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike again. As the days turned into a week, Jasmine's physical wounds had begun to heal, but the emotional scars ran deep. She felt like a prisoner in her own home, trapped and helpless. She longed for the freedom to make her own choices, to live her own life, but that seemed like a distant dream. One evening, as she was walking back to her chambers, Jasmine saw Hailey standing in the corridor, a look of amusement on her face. Jasmine's heart skipped a beat as Hailey began to walk towards her. "Good evening, sister," Hailey said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I trust you're doing well?" Jasmine forced a smile, trying to play it cool, but her mind was racing. What did Hailey want? Was she here to taunt her, or was there something more sinister at play? "I'm fine, thank you," Jasmine replied, trying to sound nonchalant. Hailey chuckled, her eyes glinting with malice. "I'm glad to hear that. I was thinking, perhaps it's time for us to have a little...outing." Jasmine's heart sank. What did Hailey have planned? And why did she have a feeling that it was going to be a disaster?
