"Sharing the Joy"

The warmth of the moment still lingered as Maya and Nick sat on the bed, hands entwined, the pregnancy test still clutched in Nick's hand. They exchanged tender glances, the excitement and joy of the news still settling in. Maya's eyes sparkled with tears, and Nick's face softened, his eyes filled with love and adoration. They both knew that they had to share this news with Sabrina, their girlfriend, and they couldn't wait to see her reaction. Nick pulled out his phone and smiled at Maya. "Time to share the news with Sabrina," he said, his voice filled with excitement. Maya nodded, and Nick dialed Sabrina's number, choosing the FaceTime option. After a few rings, Sabrina's bright smile appeared on the screen, and Maya's heart swelled with love for their little family. Sabrina's eyes sparkled as she took in their excited expressions. "What's going on? You two look like you've won the lottery," she said, her voice filled with curiosity. Nick and Maya exchanged a glance, and then Nick spoke up, his voice trembling with excitement. "We've got some news to share, Sab. Maya's pregnant." The screen went silent for a moment as Sabrina's eyes widened in shock. Then, a huge grin spread across her face, and she let out a squeal of delight. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" she exclaimed, bouncing up and down in her seat. Maya and Nick laughed, relieved that Sabrina was taking the news well. Sabrina's face appeared more composed, and she asked, "Is it true? Are you guys really having a baby?" Nick nodded, and Maya smiled, her eyes shining with tears. "We are," Maya said, her voice barely above a whisper. Sabrina's face lit up with joy, and she started crying, happy tears streaming down her face. As they chatted with Sabrina, Maya and Nick couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support they shared as a little family. They talked about everything and nothing, their conversation flowing easily as they basked in the excitement of the news. Sabrina asked a million questions, and Maya and Nick did their best to answer them, their excitement and joy infectious. As they wrapped up their conversation, Sabrina said, "I love you guys so much. I'm going to be an aunt!" Maya and Nick laughed, and Nick said, "We're going to need your help, Sab. We're going to need all the help we can get." Sabrina grinned, and they all shared a laugh, the distance between them melting away as they celebrated the new addition to their little family. As they ended the call, Maya and Nick sat back on the bed, hands still entwined, the pregnancy test still clutched in Nick's hand. They looked at each other, and their eyes met, a connection sparking between them.
