**Chapter 9: A Dark Moment**

Part 9

As Iduna rushed to Hans's side, she saw that he was clutching his wrists in agony, blood seeping through his fingers. She quickly understood that he had slit his wrists in a desperate cry for help, a heartbreaking sign of the depth of his emotional pain. Iduna's instincts kicked in, and she swiftly called for the guards and her daughters to help her. Elsa and Anna rushed into the room, concern etched on their faces. "Mother, what's happening?" Elsa asked, taking in the scene before her. "Hans has hurt himself," Iduna replied, her voice firm but laced with worry. "We need to get him help immediately." The guards quickly moved to restrain Hans, trying to prevent him from causing further harm to himself. Iduna knew that they had to act fast to save him from his own darkness. With a heavy heart, she ordered that Hans be placed in a straight jacket to prevent him from harming himself. As the guards struggled to secure the straight jacket around Hans's wrists, Iduna couldn't help but feel a sense of despair wash over her. She had been so sure that she could help him, that she could be his safe haven. But now, she wasn't so sure. With a gentle touch, Iduna helped the guards secure the straight jacket, trying to reassure Hans that everything would be okay. "I'm here, Hans," she said softly. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you. You're safe now." But despite her words, Hans's eyes seemed to hold a deep sadness, a sense of hopelessness that Iduna knew she had to confront. She ordered that he be sedated and taken to a quiet room, where he could be kept safe until he was stable enough to receive proper care. As the guards carried Hans away, Iduna couldn't shake off the feeling that she had failed him. She knew that she had to do more to help him, to reach out to him and show him that he was loved and valued. The rest of the day passed in a blur as Iduna tended to Hans, making sure that he received the best care possible. She knew that she had to be strong for him, to be his rock in this difficult time. As night fell, Iduna sat beside Hans's bed, watching him sleep fitfully. She knew that she had to find a way to reach him, to bring him back from the darkness that had consumed him. With a newfound sense of determination, Iduna made a decision. She was going to do everything in her power to help Hans, to bring him back to the light. And she was going to start by being there for him, by showing him that he was loved and valued. As she sat beside him, Iduna felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she would do whatever it took to help Hans, to bring him back to the land of the living. And she knew that she wouldn't give up, no matter what challenges lay ahead. The darkness that had consumed Hans would not defeat him, not while Iduna was by his side. She was his queen, his mother, and his friend. And she would do everything in her power to help him heal.
