"Desperate Measures"

Ashley's eyes blazed with a mix of fear and desperation as she struggled against Erica's grip. "Where are you taking me?" she cried and yelled, her voice hoarse with emotion. Erica tried to calm her down, but Ashley was beyond reason. She was convinced that Erica was betraying her, taking her away from the only person she loved. "I'm fine!" Ashley yelled, kicking and thrashing against Erica's hold. Erica cried out, her eyes welling up with tears as she looked at her sister like this. She had never seen Ashley so out of control, so desperate. The social worker stood by, her expression a mix of concern and frustration. "Ashley, please calm down," she said, her voice soft but firm. "The ambulance will be here soon, and we need to get you help." But Ashley was beyond listening. She was consumed by her fear of being taken away from Erica, and she would stop at nothing to resist. With a surge of adrenaline, she turned on Erica, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. As Erica held her tight, Ashley's face contorted in a snarl. She opened her mouth, revealing her teeth, and then, in a swift and vicious motion, she bit down on Erica's arm. Erica cried out in pain and shock, releasing her grip on Ashley. Ashley took advantage of the momentary distraction to break free. She stumbled backwards, her eyes wild and unfocused, as she tried to put as much distance between herself and Erica as possible. The social worker rushed forward, her eyes wide with alarm. "Ashley, stop!" she shouted, but Ashley was already running, her feet pounding the floor as she desperately tried to escape. The sound of sirens echoed through the hallway, growing louder with each passing second. Ashley knew that the ambulance was on its way, and she knew that she was running out of time. But she didn't care. She was determined to get away, to find a way to be with Erica again. As she ran, Ashley's mind was a jumble of emotions and thoughts. She was scared, she was angry, and she was desperate. But most of all, she was determined to do whatever it took to be with Erica, no matter the cost.
