Drowning in Eternity

Part 1

The water was cold and unforgiving, suffocating me with its relentless grip. I thrashed about, my limbs flailing wildly as I tried to break free from the crushing pressure. But it was no use. The world around me began to fade, growing darker with each passing moment. I felt my consciousness slipping away, and a sense of despair washed over me. I was alone, with no one to turn to for help. As the darkness deepened, I felt my life force ebbing away. My vision began to blur, and I saw the world through a watery haze. I was... I was... but my thoughts were disjointed, fragmented. I couldn't quite grasp anything. And then, there was nothing. But the nothingness was short-lived. I was jolted back into existence, my lungs burning as I took a gasping breath. I was warm, surrounded by warmth, and I felt a sense of comfort that I had never known before. As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw that I was in a room filled with people. They were all smiling, their faces filled with joy. I saw my mother and father, their eyes shining with tears. They were holding me, cradling me in their arms. My mother looked up, a radiant smile spreading across her face. "She's here!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with emotion. My father echoed her words, his voice choked with tears. I began to cry, overwhelmed by the sudden rush of sensations. My mother stroked my hair, whispering softly to calm me down. As I looked up at her, I saw that she was smiling at me, her eyes filled with love. "Your name is Vesper," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. The room fell silent, and I felt a sense of wonder. Everyone was staring at me, their faces filled with curiosity. I laughed, a tiny sound, but it was enough to break the tension. My mother laughed too, and my father joined in. The warmth in the room enveloped me, and I felt a sense of belonging. As I looked around, I realized that I was four years old. But there was something strange about me. I felt... different. I felt smarter than I should be, as if I had lived before. And then, it hit me. I remembered watching a TV show, a show about superheroes with Quirks. I remembered being fascinated by the characters, by their powers and their struggles. My Hero Academia. I was living in the world of My Hero Academia. I couldn't believe it. In my past life, it was just a TV show, a fantasy world that I loved watching. But now, I was living in it. I was a part of it. As I looked around the room, I felt a sense of wonder and excitement. What would my life be like in this new world? Would I have a Quirk? Would I become a hero? The questions swirled in my mind, but for now, I was just Vesper, a four-year-old girl with a bright future ahead of her. And as I looked up at my parents, I knew that I was ready to take on whatever came next.
