Chapter 1: The Unseen Transformation

Boom Sonic stood at the edge of the horizon, gazing out at the endless expanse of blue sky and green grass. The wind whipped through his quills, and he closed his eyes, feeling the familiar rush of adrenaline as he sensed the presence of his friends. He had always been able to track them, no matter where they went or what they did. It was a sixth sense that only came with being part of a team, a bond that went beyond mere friendship. As he opened his eyes, he scanned the landscape, his gaze sweeping across the rolling hills and dense forests. That was when he saw them - a flash of color, a burst of light, and his friends were transformed. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Tails' twin sister, were all standing together, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy. But what caught Boom Sonic's attention was that they had all transformed into their Super forms. Sonic's blue spikes were longer and more vibrant, his eyes shone like bright blue stars, and his aura was crackling with electricity. Tails' twin tails were spinning at incredible speeds, generating powerful whirlwinds that rustled the leaves of the nearby trees. Knuckles' fists were glowing with a fierce, red light, and his eyes burned with an inner fire. Amy's hair was longer and more flowing, her eyes shining with a soft, pink light that seemed to pulse with a gentle, soothing energy. Boom Sonic's eyes widened in shock as he stumbled backward, his mind reeling with the implications. How was this possible? He had never seen them transform like this before. He had heard stories, of course, but he had always thought they were just that - stories. He took a step forward, his heart pounding in his chest. He had to know what was happening. He had to know what was going on with his friends. As he approached, Sonic turned to face him, a huge grin spreading across his face. "Boom Sonic! We're... we're Super!" he exclaimed, his voice full of excitement. But as Boom Sonic looked at the others, he realized that something was off. They seemed... different. Their auras were different, their powers seeming to interact with each other in complex and unpredictable ways. Knuckles' fists were glowing with an intense heat, while Amy's pink light seemed to be calming the air around her. Tails' whirlwinds were buffeting the trees, causing leaves to swirl through the air. "What's going on?" Boom Sonic asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Sonic's grin faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "We're not entirely sure," he admitted. "We just... transformed. And now we have these... powers." Boom Sonic's eyes narrowed. This was not right. Something was very wrong here. He could feel it. And then, just as he was about to ask another question, a loud boom echoed through the air, followed by a flash of light. When the light faded, a figure stood before them. "Ah, perfect timing," the figure said, a sly smile spreading across his face. "I see you're all... Super. This should make things much more interesting." Boom Sonic's eyes locked onto the figure, his instincts on high alert. Who was this? And what did they want? The figure's smile grew wider, and Boom Sonic felt a shiver run down his spine. This was going to be a long day.
