**Turbulent Recovery**

Part 29

As the days went by, Jason attempted to put on a mask of normalcy, but it was a struggle. His body still bore the physical reminders of the ordeal - bruises that had begun to heal, but still ached with a dull throb, and a lingering sense of vulnerability that made him jumpy. At night, he'd lie awake, his mind invaded by the dark memories of Sangwoo's twisted games. The images lingered, refusing to be shaken off, and the nightmares that followed left him gasping for breath. Despite the efforts of his friends to be supportive, Jason found it hard to shake off the feeling of being a burden. He tried to fall back into his routine, spending hours in the gaming room with the others, but his mind kept wandering back to the traumatic experience. The pain and fear still lingered, making it difficult for him to focus on anything else. But as he slowly began to regain his footing, a new and disturbing development emerged. Jason started experiencing cravings - strange, unsettling longings for the feelings Sangwoo had inflicted upon him. The memories of those moments, though twisted and wrong, had been strangely...alluring. The sense of detachment, the blissful unawareness of his surroundings, it was all still so vivid in his mind. At first, Jason tried to brush off these cravings, telling himself they were a sick aberration, a warped response to the trauma he'd endured. But as they persisted, growing stronger with each passing day, he found himself struggling to resist. He didn't want to confess this to anyone, not even to his closest friends. The shame and fear of being judged, or worse, being pitied, kept him silent. As he walked through the Faze house, Jason couldn't help but feel like he was living a lie. On the surface, he seemed to be recovering, but deep down, he was still trapped in a web of dark emotions. He began to withdraw, spending more time alone in his room, trying to make sense of these new, disturbing feelings. The others noticed the change in him, but they couldn't quite put their finger on what it was. "Hey, Jason, you okay, man?" Ron asked one evening, as he found Jason sitting in his room, staring blankly at the wall. Jason forced a smile, trying to reassure him. "Yeah, I'm fine, Ron. Just need some downtime, that's all." But Ron's eyes lingered, searching for something more. Jason knew he couldn't keep this hidden for long. The question was, what would happen when the truth finally came to light?
