Healing and Reassurance
Part 3
A while had passed since Mercury's ordeal, and the solar system's attention was still focused on his recovery. Solara, having assessed the situation, nodded reassuringly as she gazed at Mercury's surface. "It's just a small collision of two celestial bodies beneath your surface, Mercury. The burns should take a while to heal, but you should be back to your usual self soon." Mercury, who had been quiet and still, let out a sigh of relief. He had been worried that the pain would be permanent, but Solara's words reassured him that it was just a minor setback. He flexed his surface, feeling a hint of pain, but overall, he felt alright. Just then, Earth, accompanied by her faithful moon Luna, and Mars arrived at Mercury's side. "Hey, Mercury, we heard about what happened," Earth said, concern etched on his face. "We just wanted to check on you and make sure you're okay." Mars nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we've been worried about you. What happened, anyway?" Mercury smiled weakly, trying to reassure his friends. "I'm fine, guys. Solara just told me it was a small collision beneath my surface. The burns should heal with a little rest." Luna, who had been quietly observing the scene, spoke up. "We're glad to hear that, Mercury. If there's anything we can do to help, just let us know." Mercury appreciated the offer, but he was confident that he would be back to his usual self soon. "Thanks, guys, but I think I'll be okay. I just need to take it easy for a while." Earth nodded, seeming to accept Mercury's assessment. "Alright, well, if you're sure you're okay, we'll leave you to rest. Just don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything." As Earth, Luna, and Mars departed, Solara remained by Mercury's side, watching over him as he recovered. "I'll stay here with you, Mercury," she said. "Make sure you're okay and that the healing process goes smoothly." Mercury smiled, feeling grateful for Solara's care. "Thanks, Solara. I appreciate it." With Solara's reassurance and the support of his friends, Mercury felt a sense of calm wash over him. He closed his eyes, letting the warmth of the sun soak into his surface, and drifted off to sleep, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
