**Chapter 1: A Summer Reunion**

Part 1

The sound of the school bell ringing, signaling the end of another day, was like music to Adrien's ears. He had been restless all day, constantly checking his watch and counting down the minutes until he could leave. As soon as the bell rang, Adrien bolted out of the school doors, leaving his friends staring after him in confusion. "Hey, Adrien, what's the rush?" Marinette called out, jogging down the stairs to catch up to him. "I have to pick someone up from the train station," Adrien replied, not slowing down. Nino and Alya followed close behind, curiosity getting the better of them. "Who are you picking up?" Nino asked, but Adrien just shook his head. "You guys are welcome to come with me, though," he said, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. The group made their way to the train station, chatting and laughing as they walked. Adrien's excitement was palpable, and his friends couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious person was. As they arrived at the train station, Adrien glanced at his watch for what felt like the hundredth time. A few minutes later, a train pulled into the station, and Adrien's eyes scanned the platform. That's when his face lit up, a huge smile spreading across his face. "Lily!" he exclaimed, rushing towards a petite girl with long, dark hair and light blue eyes. She had a soft tan and a bright smile on her face. The girl's eyes sparkled as she saw Adrien, and she threw her arms around him. Adrien lifted her off the ground, spinning her around in a joyful circle. "Ciao, amico!" she exclaimed. **Hello, friend!** Adrien set her down, still grinning from ear to ear. His friends stared, intrigued by this tiny, dark-haired girl who seemed to bring so much joy to Adrien's life. Lily's eyes scanned the group, and she smiled warmly. "Ciao, ragazzi," she said, greeting Adrien's friends in Italian. **Hello, guys.** Marinette, Nino, and Alya exchanged curious glances. Who was this girl, and why did Adrien seem so excited to see her? Nathalie had tasked Adrien with picking up Lily from the train station, and Adrien had been looking forward to this moment for weeks. Lily was his childhood best friend, the daughter of Nathalie Sancuoer and Alessandro Altera, a famous Italian fashion designer. As they made their way out of the train station, Lily chatted excitedly with Adrien in Italian, catching up on old times. Adrien's friends listened, fascinated by the easy way Adrien and Lily interacted. As they walked, Lily's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Sono così felice di essere qui," she said, turning to Adrien. **I'm so happy to be here.** Adrien grinned, happy to have his friend back in Paris for the summer. "Anch'io, Lily," he replied. **Me too, Lily.** The group continued on their way, Lily chattering away in Italian as they strolled through the streets of Paris. Adrien's friends exchanged glances, eager to learn more about this charming, dark-haired girl who had captured their friend's heart.
