A New Chapter Unfolds
Part 17
As they walked out of the bathroom, Mario turned to Peach and smiled. "Let's get dressed, and then we can head out to eat," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Peach nodded, her hair still damp from their earlier encounter. "Sounds like a plan," she said, her voice playful. The two of them walked back into the bedroom, the intimacy of the moment still lingering in the air. Peach walked over to her dresser, opening a drawer and pulling out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. She quickly got dressed, her movements swift and efficient. Mario, on the other hand, took a little longer to get dressed. He walked over to his closet, pulling out a pair of pants and a shirt. He dressed quickly, his eyes never leaving Peach's as she finished getting ready. As they finished getting dressed, Mario walked over to Peach and wrapped his arms around her. "You look beautiful," he said, his voice low and husky. Peach smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Thanks," she said, her voice playful. "You don't look so bad yourself." Mario chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Let's get going, I'm starving," he said, his voice light. The two of them walked out of the bedroom, hand in hand. They made their way downstairs, the warm sunlight streaming in through the windows. As they walked out of the castle, Peach couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea where Mario was taking her, but she was eager to find out. The two of them walked through the streets of the Mushroom Kingdom, passing by Toads and other creatures. They were greeted with smiles and waves, and Peach couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging. After a few minutes of walking, Mario stopped in front of a small restaurant. The sign above the door read "Toad's Kitchen", and the smell of delicious food wafted out into the air. Peach's stomach growled in anticipation as Mario opened the door and led her inside. The restaurant was cozy and intimate, with tables scattered throughout the room. The walls were adorned with colorful decorations, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Mario walked over to the hostess, a friendly-looking Toad who greeted them with a smile. "Right this way, Mario," she said, leading them to a table by the window. As they sat down, Peach couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea what the future held, but she was eager to face it with Mario by her side. The menu was delivered, and Peach scanned it quickly, her eyes widening in surprise. There were all sorts of delicious-looking dishes, from spaghetti to pizza to salads. Mario smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice low and husky. Peach thought for a moment, her mind racing with possibilities. "I think I'll have the spaghetti," she said, her voice playful. Mario nodded, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'll have the same," he said, his voice firm. As they waited for their food to arrive, Peach couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. She was with Mario, and that was all that mattered.
