**Chapter 7: Learning to Communicate**

Part 7

The next morning, Y/N pulled out a small stack of books and papers from her bag. "Today, I'm going to teach you how to read and write," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Bakugou's eyes widened as he watched her unfold the papers, filled with strange symbols and markings. "What's this?" he asked, his finger tracing the lines of text. "This is human language," Y/N explained. "We use these symbols to communicate with each other. It's called writing." Bakugou's face scrunched up in confusion. "But how do you understand it?" he asked. Y/N smiled. "It's like learning a new skill. You have to practice and study to get it. But I think you'll pick it up quickly." She began to point to the symbols, teaching Bakugou the sounds and meanings behind each one. At first, he struggled to understand, his mind boggling at the complexity of it all. But Y/N was a patient teacher, and she broke it down into simple steps. As they practiced, Bakugou's frustration grew. His gorilla brain wasn't wired to understand these strange symbols, and he felt like he was failing. But Y/N encouraged him, praising his efforts and urging him to keep trying. Slowly but surely, Bakugou began to grasp the basics of reading and writing. He started to recognize the symbols, and even attempted to write a few himself. Y/N beamed with pride as she corrected his mistakes and guided him through the process. As the day wore on, they took a break, sitting down to a simple meal of fruit and berries. Bakugou munched on the food, his mind still reeling from the new information. "I'm glad I'm learning this," he said, looking at Y/N with gratitude. "I want to understand you better." Y/N smiled, her eyes warm with affection. "I'm glad you're learning too," she said. "I want to help you understand yourself better." As they finished their meal, Y/N pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a simple sentence. "Can you read this?" she asked, handing him the paper. Bakugou's eyes scanned the symbols, his heart racing with excitement. And then, in a burst of understanding, he read the sentence aloud. "I am Katsuki." Y/N cheered, clapping her hands together in excitement. "That's it, Katsuki! You're a natural!" Bakugou grinned, feeling a surge of pride and accomplishment. He was learning to communicate, to connect with Y/N on a deeper level. And as they sat together, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle, he knew that he was exactly where he was meant to be. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the jungle, Bakugou turned to Y/N with a question. "What's the next step?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. Y/N smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "The next step is to have a conversation," she said. "Just like we're having now." Bakugou's face lit up with excitement. He was ready to take the next step, to explore this new world of human communication with Y/N by his side. With renewed enthusiasm, they began to chat, exchanging stories and ideas, their conversation flowing easily as they sat together under the stars.
