"Desperation and Bad Advice"

Part 3

Ana took a deep breath and began to type out a post on Reddit, recounting her experience with PornoLover23. She was hoping to get some advice from the community on how to handle the situation. She titled her post "Feeling used and unsure what to do next" and detailed her interaction with the user. To her surprise, the responses started rolling in quickly. Many of them were from men, and their advice was... questionable. One user, "SexySquid", wrote: "Keep sending him pictures till he responds, your role as entertainer isn’t finished. You gotta keep the customer satisfied, even if they're being a bit difficult." Ana felt a shiver run down her spine at the thought of sending more photos, but SexySquid's words seemed to resonate with some of the other users. Another user, "MarketingMaster", chimed in: "Send him 50 dollars to bring him back! You gotta spend money to make money, sweetheart. It's all about investing in your business." Ana's eyes widened at the suggestion. She had never thought of paying someone to get them interested in her content before. As she read through the responses, Ana's little stupid woman brain, as she had come to think of it, began to latch onto the advice. Maybe they were right? Maybe she just needed to send a few more photos or make a small investment to win PornoLover23 back. She started to rationalize that it wouldn't be so bad, that it would be a small price to pay for the potential payoff. Ana's fingers began to type out a message to PornoLover23, offering to send him more photos or even pay him to take another look at her content. She hesitated for a moment, but her desire to make a sale and prove herself won out. She hit send, and then immediately regretted it. As she sat back in her chair, feeling a sense of unease, Ana couldn't shake the feeling that she was making a huge mistake. She had thought that she was in control, but now she was starting to feel like she was just a pawn in someone else's game. The advice from the Reddit community had seemed so convincing, but now she wasn't so sure. Ana's eyes drifted back to her computer screen, where she saw that she had a new message from an unknown user. The username read "ConcernedCitizen", and the message was brief: "Ana, be careful. You're not the only one who's been talking to PornoLover23. There are people out there who will take advantage of you. Don't send him any more photos or money. Trust me, you're not worth that to him." Ana's heart skipped a beat as she read the message. Who was this person, and what did they know about PornoLover23?
