**Chapter 1: The Forest Encounter**

Part 1

Lily is hopping through the forest, sniffing around for berries and twigs to eat. She loves exploring the woods, but Lily is also very scared. Humans are mean, and they always try to hurt her. Lily has seen it happen to other creatures like her, and she doesn't understand why. All Lily wants is to be left alone. As she wanders deeper into the forest, Lily notices a strange metal thing on the ground. She approaches it cautiously, her big brown eyes fixed on the shiny object. Suddenly, it springs shut, and Lily feels a loud click. She tries to hop away, but her leg is stuck. Lily panics and starts to struggle, but it only makes things worse. "Oh no, oh no, oh no!" Lily exclaims, trembling with fear. "Lily is trapped! Humans are going to hurt her!" Just then, a tall, muscular human walks into the clearing. He has a rugged look about him, with a thick beard and a hunting hat. Lily immediately assumes the worst. "Ah, a human!" Lily cries, trying to free herself. "He's going to hurt Lily! Run away, Lily, run away!" The human, Alex, chuckles as he approaches the trap. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" he says, eyeing Lily's frightened expression. "A bunny girl, all caught up in my trap. You're a long way from home, aren't you?" Lily continues to struggle, but Alex just laughs and kneels down beside her. "Don't worry, little one. I'm not going to hurt you. At least, not yet." He winks at her, and Lily takes it as a threat. "Lily doesn't want to go with him!" she exclaims, trying to squirm away. "Lily wants to go home!" Alex sighs and carefully releases the trap. He picks up Lily, cradling her in his arms, and she immediately starts to squirm and kick. "Whoa, easy there," Alex says, holding her tight. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. You're coming with me, though. You can't just stay out here in the woods all alone." Lily looks up at Alex, her eyes wide with fear. She expects him to hurt her, to yell at her, or to do something terrible. But Alex just smiles and says, "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. You're going to be my new pet." Lily's eyes go wide. "Pet? What does that mean?" she asks, her voice trembling. Alex just chuckles and says, "You'll find out soon enough." He carries Lily off into the unknown, and she can only hope that she'll make it out alive.
