**Chapter 1: A Toxic Twist**

Part 1

The studio lights blazed down on the set of The Kelly Clarkson Show, casting a warm glow over the lively atmosphere. Sabrina Carpenter, with her stunning long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, sat comfortably on the couch alongside Nick Robinson, his brown hair perfectly messy, and his brown eyes sparkling with charm. Nick's girlfriend, Samantha, a blonde bombshell with a sugary sweet smile, sat beside him, her hand possessively draped over his thigh. Kelly Clarkson, the effervescent host, bounced onto the stage, her infectious energy electrifying the audience. "Welcome back to the show, everyone! Today, we have an amazing lineup for you. Please give a warm welcome to Nick Robinson and his talented friends, Sabrina Carpenter and Samantha!" As the audience applauded, Samantha stood up, a pitcher and three glasses in hand. "Hey, Kelly, I brought some refreshing smoothies for everyone. I hope you guys like them!" She flashed a bright smile, her eyes gleaming with a sinister intensity that went unnoticed by the unsuspecting trio. Kelly's eyes lit up. "Aww, that's so sweet of you, Samantha! I love a good smoothie. What flavors did you make?" Samantha's smile grew wider. "Just a mix of fruits and nuts. I think you'll all love it." She poured the smoothie into three glasses and handed them out, her eyes locking onto Sabrina's for a brief, menacing moment. Sabrina took a sip of the smoothie, oblivious to the danger lurking within. The cool liquid glided down her throat, quenching her thirst. "Mmm, this is so good!" She turned to Nick and Samantha, her face radiant with a smile. "You guys have to try this!" Nick and Kelly also took sips of their smoothies, praising Samantha's culinary skills. But as Sabrina took another sip, her expression began to change. Her eyes started to water, and her skin began to itch. Kelly noticed Sabrina's distress. "Hey, Sabrina, are you okay? You look a little... off." Sabrina's voice was laced with concern. "I... I don't know. I just feel a little weird." She tried to brush it off, but her body had other plans. Her face began to swell, her lips puffing up like balloons. Her breathing grew labored, and her skin broke out in hives. Nick's eyes widened in alarm as he turned to Sabrina. "Sabrina, what's happening? Oh my god, Samantha, what did you put in that smoothie?" Samantha's smile had morphed into a cold, calculating glare. She knew exactly what she had put in that smoothie – almond milk, apples, and peaches, all of which Sabrina was severely allergic to. She had done it to sabotage Sabrina, to eliminate the threat she perceived from the young actress who had captured Nick's attention. Kelly sprang into action, her voice firm and urgent. "Someone call 911! We need an ambulance, now!" She turned to Sabrina, who was struggling to breathe. "Sabrina, hang in there, sweetie. Help is on the way." As the audience watched in horror, Kelly wrapped her arms around Sabrina, holding her close. "I've got you, girl. You're going to be okay." Nick's face was etched with worry, his eyes darting between Sabrina and Samantha, who was now pretending to be concerned. The studio erupted into chaos as the medical team rushed onto the set. Sabrina's condition worsened, her throat constricting, and her body going into anaphylactic shock. Kelly refused to leave Sabrina's side, insisting on riding with her to the hospital. As they sped away in the ambulance, Kelly held Sabrina's hand, her voice a soothing balm. "You're going to be okay, Sabrina. I promise. Just hang in there, sweetie." As they careened through the streets, Nick's face was a picture of anguish, his eyes fixed on Sabrina's pale face. Samantha sat in the backseat, her expression a mask of innocence, but her eyes gleaming with a malevolent light, knowing she had come perilously close to destroying the life of the young actress who had captured Nick's heart. The fate of Sabrina hung in the balance, as the medical team fought to save her life. Kelly's voice was a constant presence, reassuring Sabrina that everything would be okay, but the outcome was far from certain. The once lively atmosphere had given way to a desperate struggle for survival, and the true extent of Samantha's malice was only just beginning to unravel.
