Chapter 3: A Night to Remember
Part 3
The morning sunlight streaming through the window gently roused Dorothy from her deep slumber. She stretched, feeling the warmth of Lucas's body beside her. As she opened her eyes, she was met with the gentle smile of her husband, who was watching her with adoration. "Good morning, beautiful," Lucas whispered, his voice husky from sleep. Dorothy's cheeks flushed as she smiled back at him. "Good morning," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. They lay there for a moment, enjoying the warmth and intimacy of their bed. The city outside their window was coming alive, with the sounds of car horns, chatter, and the wail of sirens in the distance. But in their little bubble, all that mattered was the two of them. As they lazily explored each other's bodies, Dorothy couldn't help but think about the night before. She had never felt that way about anyone before. The passion, the desire, the love – it had all been so overwhelming, yet exhilarating. She knew that she had made the right decision in marrying Lucas. Lucas seemed to sense her thoughts and smiled. "You're thinking about last night, aren't you?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Dorothy blushed, feeling a little self-conscious. "Maybe," she replied, trying to play it cool. Lucas chuckled and pulled her close. "I'm thinking about it too," he said, his voice low and husky. "I have to say, it was pretty amazing." Dorothy's cheeks flushed even more as she smiled. "It was," she agreed, her voice barely above a whisper. As they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, Dorothy felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She knew that this was just the beginning of their life together, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held. After a while, Lucas got out of bed and began to get dressed. "We should get going," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I have a surprise planned for you today." Dorothy's curiosity was piqued. "What is it?" she asked, her voice eager. Lucas just smiled and kissed her forehead. "You'll have to wait and see," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Dorothy pouted, but she couldn't help but feel excited. She had a feeling that this was going to be a day she would never forget. As she got dressed, Dorothy couldn't help but think about the city outside their window. Paris, the city of love, was living up to its reputation. She felt like she was floating on air, and she knew that this was just the beginning of their romantic adventure together. With a spring in their steps, they set out into the city, ready to take on whatever the day had in store for them. The Eiffel Tower loomed in the distance, a reminder of the magic of the city, and the night that had brought them even closer together.
