The Electric Connection
Part 3
The fluorescent lights of the classroom flickered overhead, casting an artificial glow over the group as they packed up their things. Bakugou shoved his notes into his bag, his eyes drifting to Akira, who was gathering her belongings with a quiet efficiency. As their gazes met, a spark of electricity ran through him, leaving his skin tingling. He quickly looked away, pretending it was an accident, but the sensation lingered. The air seemed to vibrate with tension, like the moment before a storm breaks. Bakugou's heart beat faster, his senses on high alert as he became aware of Akira's presence beside him. As they walked out of the classroom, Akira turned to him with a mischievous grin. "Hey, Bakugou? Want to grab a coffee with me and discuss the project further?" Her voice was husky, with a hint of playfulness that made his pulse quicken. Bakugou raised an eyebrow, surprised by the invitation. But as he looked into her sparkling green eyes, he found himself nodding, his heart racing with anticipation. "Yeah, sure," he replied, trying to sound casual despite the turmoil brewing inside him. The campus coffee shop was a short walk from their classroom, its warm lights and inviting aroma drawing them in like moths to a flame. Inside, the atmosphere was cozy, with comfortable chairs and soft music playing in the background. Bakugou and Akira settled into a corner table, their knees almost touching as they sat down. As they ordered their drinks, Bakugou couldn't help but notice the way Akira's red hair seemed to glow in the soft light. Her green eyes sparkled with amusement, and her full lips curved into a smile that made his chest tighten. Their drinks arrived, and they sipped their coffee in silence, the only sound the soft hum of the coffee machines and the murmur of conversation from the other patrons. Bakugou felt a sense of ease wash over him, as if he'd known Akira for years, not just hours. As they sat there, their legs touched, sending a jolt of electricity through Bakugou's body. He pulled back, his eyes locking onto Akira's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. The air seemed to thicken, like honey dripping from a spoon, and Bakugou felt his heart pounding in his chest. Akira's eyes seemed to bore into his, searching for something, and Bakugou felt himself getting lost in their depths. He was aware of every inch of her, from the curve of her neck to the way her hair fell in loose waves down her back. Without thinking, he reached out, his hand brushing against hers. The touch was accidental, but the spark that ran through him was anything but. It was like a live wire had been touched, sending a shockwave through his entire body. Akira's eyes flashed with surprise, and she pulled her hand back, her cheeks flushing with color. Bakugou felt a pang of disappointment, but as he looked into her eyes, he saw something there, something that made his heart skip a beat. The connection between them was undeniable, and Bakugou felt himself getting drawn into its depths. He leaned forward, his voice low, his words barely audible over the sound of his own heartbeat. "Akira?" he whispered, his eyes locked onto hers. "Yeah?" she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Bakugou's heart was racing, his senses on high alert. He felt like he was standing on the edge of a cliff, staring into the unknown. And yet, he couldn't help but feel drawn to the abyss, to the thrill of the unknown. As they sat there, their eyes locked, the tension between them building to a crescendo, Bakugou knew that he was in trouble. He was falling, hard, and he wasn't sure if he could stop himself from plummeting into the depths of his own desire.
