A Night to Remember

Part 1

Wilhelm stumbled into his dorm room, tossing his jacket onto the bed. His best friend, Felice, had been bugging him all week to attend the annual Hillerksa party, and he had finally given in. It wasn't like he was excited about it, but Felice had promised it would be a blast. Wilhelm wasn't so sure about that now, but a few shots of vodka had changed his mind. As he changed into his party clothes, he couldn't help but think about Simon. They had dated briefly, but it had ended a few months ago. Wilhelm still had feelings for Simon, but he had been trying to move on. He pushed the thoughts aside and headed out to meet Felice. Meanwhile, Simon was getting ready at home, his mom and sister, Sarah, teasing him about the party. Sarah had been bugging him to go, saying it would be fun and that he needed to get out more. Simon had been hesitant at first, but eventually gave in. He was dressed and ready to go, trying to shake off the feeling that he didn't really want to attend. As it turned out, both Wilhelm and Simon received invitations to the party, and both had reluctantly agreed to go. The party was in full swing when Wilhelm arrived, the music pounding and the lights flashing. He spotted Felice across the room and made his way over. The party was fun, or so Wilhelm thought, until he scanned the room and spotted Simon dancing with another guy. The guy's hands were all over Simon, and Wilhelm felt a pang of jealousy. He stumbled over to them, his vision blurry from the drinks. "Hey, get your fucking hands off Simon before I make you," Wilhelm slurred, his anger and jealousy getting the better of him. The other guy looked taken aback, but tried to stay calm. "Okay, chill man, it's not that serious." Wilhelm took another step closer, his words slurring. "It is actually serious, so get your fucking hands off him." The guy looked at Wilhelm, shook his head, and walked away. Simon stormed off the dance floor, looking angry, and Wilhelm followed him out of the party venue. He finally caught up to Simon on the sidewalk and grabbed his arm. "Shit, sorry, I didn't mean to. It's just when I saw him touch you like that..." Simon turned to him, his eyes flashing. "We are not dating anymore, so you don't get to choose who I'm dancing with and who touches me." Wilhelm felt a pang of regret and sadness. He had been holding onto the hope that they would get back together. "I know," he said, his voice shaking. "I just...I still have feelings for you, Simon." Simon looked at him, his expression softening. "I still have feelings for you too, Wilhelm. But we broke up. Why are you still holding onto me?" Wilhelm took a step closer, his heart pounding. "Because I love you, Simon. I still love you." Simon looked up at him, his eyes searching. "Prove it to me," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Wilhelm's heart skipped a beat as he leaned in, his lips crashing onto Simon's. The kiss was messy and intense, and Wilhelm could feel the emotions pouring out of him. They stumbled around, holding onto each other, as the world around them melted away. As they kissed, Wilhelm's hands roamed over Simon's body, and Simon's hands were in his hair, pulling him closer. They were both drunk, but the emotions were real. They had been holding onto this for too long, and now it was finally out in the open. As they finally broke apart for air, Wilhelm looked into Simon's eyes, his heart still racing. "I love you," he whispered again. Simon smiled, his eyes shining with tears. "I love you too, Wilhelm."
