Morning After

Part 7

The sunlight streaming through the window was like a slap in the face, jolting Lucas awake. He groggily opened his eyes, his head pounding with a dull ache. As he sat up, memories of the previous night came flooding back, and his eyes widened in shock. He had done it. He had actually done it. The thought of what he and Enzo had done made his stomach twist with anxiety. Lucas threw off the blanket and got out of bed, his eyes scanning the room for any signs of Enzo. But he was alone. Lucas let out a sigh of relief, unsure of how to process his emotions. He stumbled to the bathroom, his head spinning as he tried to remember every detail of the previous night. As he splashed water on his face, Lucas couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty. What had happened between him and Enzo? And what did it mean? Lucas's mind was a jumbled mess of emotions, and he didn't know how to untangle them. Meanwhile, Enzo was having a similar crisis. He woke up in his bed, his body aching in places he hadn't expected. The memories of the previous night came flooding back, and he felt a wave of panic wash over him. He had done it. He had actually had sex with Lucas. Enzo threw off the covers and got out of bed, his eyes scanning the room for any signs of Lucas. But he was alone. Enzo let out a sigh of relief, unsure of how to process his emotions. He felt a mix of shame, guilt, and confusion, and he didn't know how to untangle them. As the day went on, Lucas and Enzo went about their daily routines, avoiding each other at all costs. They both knew that they had to talk, but neither of them knew where to start. Lucas couldn't concentrate in class, his mind wandering back to Enzo and the previous night. He felt a flutter in his chest whenever he thought about Enzo, and he didn't know how to process it. Was he attracted to Enzo? And what did it mean? Enzo, on the other hand, was trying to push the thoughts of Lucas out of his mind. He felt ashamed and guilty, and he didn't know how to forgive himself. But as he looked around at his classmates, he couldn't help but feel a pang of... something. It wasn't quite attraction, but it was definitely something. As the school day drew to a close, Lucas and Enzo both knew that they had to face each other eventually. But for now, they were content to keep their distance, each lost in their own thoughts and emotions. The sun was setting as Lucas walked out of school, his heart heavy with uncertainty. He knew that he had to talk to Enzo, but he didn't know where to start. As he walked home, he couldn't shake off the feeling that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't even imagine. Enzo, on the other hand, was walking in the opposite direction, his heart heavy with shame and guilt. But as he looked back over his shoulder, he caught a glimpse of Lucas watching him, a soft expression on his face. Enzo's heart skipped a beat as he wondered what Lucas was thinking, and what the future held for them. The distance between them seemed to shrink, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the connection between them palpable. It was as if they both knew that their lives would never be the same again, that their forbidden attraction had changed them forever. And as they stood there, frozen in time, they both knew that they would have to face the consequences of their actions, together.
