**Movie Night Turned Sour**

Part 1

The sky was a deep, foreboding grey, and the rain poured down in sheets, drumming a relentless beat on the pavement. Nick had been looking forward to a cozy movie night all week, with a steaming bowl of popcorn, a cold beer, and his boyfriend Charlie by his side. But as he opened the door, he was surprised to see Charlie standing on his porch, shivering and pale. "Charlie, what the hell are you doing here?" Nick asked, concern etched in his eyes. The rain was making Charlie's hair stick to his head, and his eyes looked sunken. Charlie tried to speak, but his voice was hoarse. "I-I was bored at home," he stammered. "And I wanted to see you." Nick's expression softened, and he quickly dragged Charlie inside, shutting the door behind him. "You're soaked to the bone and you're sick, aren't you?" he asked, his voice laced with worry. Charlie nodded, his eyes welling up with tears. "I feel...I feel..." he started to say, but his voice trailed off. Nick quickly led him to the couch, where Charlie collapsed, his body wracked with a cough. Nick sat down beside him, rubbing his back. "What is it, baby?" he asked, his voice gentle. Charlie suddenly vomited onto the carpet, and Nick's eyes widened in alarm. But instead of pushing him away, like Ben would have done, Nick rubbed Charlie's back, trying to comfort him. "My poor baby," Nick cooed, as he kissed Charlie's forehead. "You're so sick. Why did you come over?" Charlie looked up at him, his eyes filled with tears and gratitude. "I wanted to be with you," he whispered. Nick's heart melted at the sight of his ailing boyfriend. He quickly got up and fetched some tissues, helping Charlie clean up. Then, he made him a cup of hot tea, and they sat down on the couch, watching the movie on Nick's laptop. As the night wore on, Charlie snuggled closer to Nick, his body warm and clammy at the same time. Nick wrapped his arms around him, holding him tight, and Charlie drifted off to sleep, his head on Nick's shoulder. Nick sat there, watching the movie, but his attention was focused on Charlie, who was so vulnerable and sick. He knew he had to take care of him, and he was happy to do so. But as he looked at Charlie's pale face, he couldn't help but wonder what had driven him to come over tonight, despite his illness. Just as Nick was pondering this, Charlie stirred in his arms, his eyes fluttering open. "Nick?" he whispered. "Yeah, baby?" Nick replied, his voice soft. Charlie's eyes searched his face, and Nick could see the fear and anxiety written all over them. "I'm sorry," Charlie whispered. "I didn't mean to ruin the night." Nick smiled and kissed his forehead. "You didn't ruin anything, Charlie. You're not a burden to me. I'm here to take care of you." Charlie's face relaxed, and he snuggled closer to Nick, his body relaxing into his touch. Nick could feel Charlie's heart beating against his chest, and he knew that he would do anything to make him feel better. As the movie continued to play, Nick focused on Charlie, his mind racing with thoughts of how he could make him feel better. He stroked his hair, and Charlie let out a soft sigh, his eyes drifting shut once again. The night was young, and Nick was ready to take care of Charlie, no matter what it took. But as he looked at his sleeping boyfriend, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Charlie's visit than met the eye...
