**Chapter 9: Descent into Darkness**

As Kody sat down to eat the steak that Ashley had prepared, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the fear and humiliation he saw in her eyes. She stood before him, the sign around her neck a constant reminder of her new role as his slave. He watched as she tried to hold back tears, her face pale and drawn. Ashley's hands trembled as she poured Kody a glass of wine, her eyes fixed on the floor. She felt a wave of shame and humiliation wash over her as she realized that she was being treated like a servant, a mere object for Kody's pleasure. As Kody took a bite of his steak, he nodded in approval. "Good," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "You're not completely useless, after all." Ashley's eyes flashed with anger, but she knew better than to speak out of turn. She kept her gaze fixed on the floor, her heart heavy with despair. Kody finished his meal, and then turned to Ashley. "Now, it's time for you to eat," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. He pulled out a bowl of dog food and set it on the floor in front of her. "Here, slave," he said, his eyes glinting with cruelty. "Enjoy your meal." Ashley's eyes widened in horror as she stared at the bowl of dog food. She felt a wave of revulsion wash over her, but she knew that she had no choice. She slowly got down on her hands and knees, her eyes fixed on the floor as she began to eat. Kody laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You're really something, aren't you?" he said, his voice dripping with contempt. "A slave, eating dog food like a trained animal." As Ashley ate, Kody's mind turned to his ultimate goal: getting her pregnant. He wanted a baby, and he wanted it as soon as possible. He wanted to take that baby from her, to watch her suffer as he ripped it from her arms. Ashley, sensing Kody's gaze on her, looked up to see him staring at her with an unnerving intensity. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized what he was thinking. "You know, slave," Kody said, his voice low and menacing. "I think it's time we started working on that baby. I'll need to take you to the doctor, to make sure you're healthy enough for breeding." Ashley's eyes widened in horror as she realized what Kody had planned. She felt a wave of fear wash over her, and she knew that she had to find a way to escape, before it was too late. But for now, she was trapped, a slave to Kody's twisted desires.
