As Ashley walked through the front door, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. The day had been long, and she was grateful to be home. She had just enough time to set down her bag and take off her shoes before she heard a loud, excited voice. "Mommy! Mommy!" Ender squealed, running towards her with his arms outstretched. Ashley smiled and opened her arms, ready to scoop him up. As Ender reached her, she picked him up and swung him around in a circle, laughing as he giggled with delight. "Wheeee!" Ender shouted, his eyes shining with happiness. Ashley twirled around the living room, Ender's laughter infectious as she spun around, feeling carefree and joyful. She set him down for a moment, only to have him climb back into her arms, hugging her tightly. "I missed you so much today, Mommy!" Ender exclaimed, his voice muffled against her shoulder. Ender pulled back, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "It was great, Mommy! I told my friends about your special door!" Ashley laughed and playfully rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you did, Ender. And I'm sure Mrs. Thompson had a lot to say about it." Ender nodded enthusiastically, launching into a detailed account of his conversation with Mrs. Thompson and his friends. Ashley listened attentively, smiling as she heard about Ender's adventures. As they chatted, Ashley couldn't help but feel grateful for this little boy who had brought so much joy into her life.
