Chapter 33: Moonlit Confessions
Part 33
As we settled in for the night, Mina suggested we play a game of spin the bottle to get everyone in a playful mood before bed. We all agreed, and Mina pulled out a bottle from her room. She spun it, and we all waited with bated breath to see who it would land on. The bottle spun and finally landed on Izuku, who let out a nervous laugh. Mina grinned mischievously and said, "Okay, Izuku, you have two options. You can either kiss the person the bottle landed on, or ask them a question and they have to answer truthfully." Izuku looked at me, his eyes sparkling with amusement, and I could tell he was trying not to laugh. "I'll ask a question," he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. Mina nodded, and Izuku turned to me and asked, "Vesper, what's the one thing you're most scared of right now?" I hesitated, unsure of how to answer. But something about Izuku's kind eyes made me feel like I could trust him. "I'm scared of losing the people I care about," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Izuku nodded, his expression serious. "We're not going anywhere, Vesper," he said. "We're here for you, no matter what." The bottle was spun again, and this time it landed on Ochaco. She let out a squeal of excitement and said, "I want to kiss!" She leaned over and gave Kirishima a quick peck on the cheek, making him blush. The game continued, with each of us taking turns spinning the bottle and either kissing or asking questions. When it was Bakugo's turn, he spun the bottle and it landed on me. He looked at me with a mischievous glint in his eye and said, "I'll ask a question." I nodded, feeling a little nervous. "What is it?" I asked. "What's something you've always wanted to do but have been too afraid to try?" he asked, his voice low and serious. I thought for a moment before answering. "I've always wanted to draw again," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I used to love drawing, but after everything that happened, I just couldn't bring myself to do it anymore." Bakugo nodded, his expression thoughtful. "You should do it," he said. "You're talented, Vesper. Don't let fear hold you back." The night wore on, with each of us sharing secrets and laughter. As we finally settled in for the night, I felt a sense of connection with my friends that I had never felt before. We were all in this together, and I knew that no matter what lay ahead, we would face it as a team.
