Finding Harmony
Part 3
As Ava walked into her next class, she scanned the room for familiar faces, her eyes landing on a cluster of choir members gathered in the back corner. She smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and relief wash over her. This was exactly what she needed – a chance to connect with her friends and forget about the awkwardness of her interview with Soren. Ava made her way over to the group, exchanging greetings with her friends as she sat down. There was Emma, the soprano with a voice like an angel; Jake, the charming tenor with a perpetual smile; and Rachel, the alto with a wicked sense of humor. Together, they formed a tight-knit community that extended far beyond the choir room. As they settled in for class, Ava felt a sense of comfort wash over her. This was her tribe – the people who understood her, who shared her passions, and who made her feel like she belonged. She took a deep breath, feeling her shoulders relax as she pulled out her notebook and began to take notes. The professor, a bespectacled woman with a kind smile, began to drone on about the finer points of music theory. Ava's eyes began to glaze over, but she was grateful for the distraction of her friends' quiet whispers and giggles. They kept her engaged, even when the material got dry. As the class wore on, Ava found herself stealing glances at her friends, feeling grateful for their presence in her life. They were more than just classmates – they were her support system, her confidants, and her partners in crime. And as they packed up their things and filed out of the classroom, Ava felt a sense of excitement building inside her. "Hey, want to grab coffee with us after school?" Emma asked, as they walked out of the classroom. Ava nodded, feeling a sense of anticipation build. "Yeah, that sounds great. I could use a caffeine fix." As they walked down the hallway, Ava felt a sense of belonging wash over her. She was part of a community, a group of people who shared her passions and values. And with her choir friends by her side, she felt like she could conquer anything. The group made plans to meet up at a coffee shop after school, and Ava felt a sense of excitement building inside her. She was looking forward to spending time with her friends, laughing and joking and just enjoying each other's company. And as she walked to her next class, Ava felt a sense of harmony in her life – a sense of balance and peace that she hadn't felt in a long time.
