"Reckless Emotions"
Part 22
I didn't hesitate, didn't look back, as I walked away from Captain Levi. The sound of my own footsteps was the only thing that filled my ears, a stark contrast to the turmoil that churned inside me. I thought I'd left it all behind, the pain, the anger, the heartache. But with every step, it seemed to seep back in, like an open wound that refused to heal. As I reached the door, I felt a hand wrap around my wrist, spinning me back around. I glared up at Captain Levi, my eyes flashing with warning. But he didn't seem to care. His eyes were fixed on mine, burning with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. "Kenzy, don't go," he whispered, his breath dancing across my skin. I tried to shake him off, but his grip was like a vice. I was trapped, caught in a web of emotions that seemed to suffocate me. And then, in a move that left me breathless, Captain Levi yanked me into his arms. His lips crashed down on mine, a fierce, desperate kiss that left me reeling. I tried to push him away, to resist the emotions that threatened to consume me. But it was no use. My body seemed to have a mind of its own, melting into his like wax. The world around me dissolved, leaving only the two of us, lost in a sea of reckless emotions. I felt like I was drowning, suffocating under the weight of my own feelings. And yet, I couldn't help but kiss him back. It was like a dam had burst, releasing a torrent of emotions that had been building for so long. I was angry, hurt, and scared, but most of all, I was still in love with him. And in that moment, I knew I was lost. Captain Levi's arms tightened around me, his kiss deepening as he devoured me. I felt like I was his, and he was mine, like we'd crossed a threshold into a new reality where nothing else mattered. But as the kiss finally broke, and we stood there, panting and trembling, I knew that nothing would ever be the same again. The question was, what did that mean for us?
