**The Weight of Reality**

Part 25

Jason sat on the bed, his back against the headboard, staring blankly at the wall as he tried to process the events of the previous night. The room was quiet, Sangwoo had left him alone for the moment, and Jason was left to confront the damage that had been done to his body. Every inch of his skin hurt from the neck down, the numerous bites and bruises a painful reminder of the way Sangwoo had ravaged him. His lower back and legs ached from the previous night's activities, and Jason couldn't help but feel a wave of disgust wash over him. As he sat there, trying to come to terms with what had happened, Jason felt a sense of numbness wash over him. He was aware of the pain, but it seemed distant, as if it was happening to someone else. He let out a series of tearless sobs, his body shaking with the effort, but no tears came. It was as if he had cried them all out yesterday, and now he was just a hollow shell of a person. Jason's mind was a jumble of emotions, but one thing was clear: he wanted to leave. He wanted to get as far away from Sangwoo as possible and never see him again. The thought of being trapped in this place, at the mercy of his kidnapper, was suffocating. Just as Jason was starting to feel like he was going to lose his mind, he heard a loud bang coming from downstairs. It sounded like a door had been broken down, and Jason's heart skipped a beat as he wondered if it was a rescue. Could it be someone coming to save him? For a moment, Jason just sat there, frozen with hope. He didn't dare to believe that it could be true, that someone might actually be coming to rescue him. But as the noise continued, growing louder and more intense, Jason's heart began to pound with excitement. He threw off the covers and got out of bed, his legs wobbly beneath him. Jason took a few tentative steps towards the door, his ear pressed against it as he listened to the sounds coming from downstairs. It was a mixture of shouting and crashing, and Jason's heart was racing with anticipation. Was it really happening? Was he finally going to be free?
