**Chapter 1: A Deal with the Devil**

Part 1

Lulu sat at her desk, staring blankly at the stack of papers in front of her. She was the division head of marketing at Smith & Co., a large corporation that had been her home for the past five years. But things were about to change. The company's CEO had retired, and a new boss, Alexander Grayson, had taken over. Rumors swirled that he was planning to restructure the company, and Lulu's division was at risk of being cut. As she pondered her future, Lulu's assistant, Jenny, knocked on the door. "Lulu, Alexander Grayson is here to see you." Lulu's heart sank. She had heard that Grayson was a ruthless businessman who didn't hesitate to make tough decisions. She stood up, smoothing her skirt, and walked around her desk to greet him. Grayson was tall and imposing, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore into her soul. He extended a hand, and Lulu shook it firmly. "Good morning, Lulu. Thank you for seeing me." "Of course, Mr. Grayson," Lulu replied, trying to sound confident. "What can I do for you?" Grayson sat down in the chair across from her desk, his eyes scanning the room. "I've been reviewing the company's performance, and I've come to the conclusion that some changes are necessary. Unfortunately, your division is at risk of being eliminated." Lulu felt a knot in her stomach. She had worked hard to build her team and had always delivered results. "I understand that times are tough, but I'm confident that we can turn things around. What do I need to do to save my division?" Grayson's expression turned cold. "I'm afraid it's not that simple. I've been...distracted lately. My family's been hounding me to settle down and produce an heir. They don't think I'm taking my responsibilities seriously enough." Lulu raised an eyebrow, sensing where this was going. "I'm not sure I understand what this has to do with me." Grayson's eyes locked onto hers, and Lulu felt a shiver run down her spine. "I'm willing to make a deal with you, Lulu. If you agree to...become my lover, I'll keep your division intact and even give you a promotion." Lulu was taken aback. She had never been one to compromise her values, but the thought of losing her job and her team was too much to bear. She hesitated, weighing her options. Could she really agree to such a thing? And what would be the consequences if she did? As she looked into Grayson's eyes, she saw a glimmer of desperation there. He was clearly a man who was used to getting what he wanted, but there was something more to him, something that made her wonder what had driven him to make such a proposal. Lulu's thoughts were interrupted by Grayson's voice, low and husky. "So, what do you say, Lulu? Will you help me out?" Lulu took a deep breath, her mind racing with the possibilities. She knew that she had to make a decision, and fast. But what would she choose?
