"Unconditional Love"

Part 1

The warm water cascaded down their bodies as they stood under the showerhead, enjoying the relaxing sensation of the water on their skin. Max and Nick had been together for four years now, and at 19 years old, they thought they had it all figured out. They were young, in love, and navigating the ups and downs of life together. As they showered, Nick suddenly froze, his eyes widening in a mixture of fear and confusion. Max immediately knew what was happening – another cataplexy attack. Nick had been living with the condition for years, and Max had learned to recognize the signs. He quickly moved to catch Nick, who was starting to lose control of his muscles. Without hesitation, Max sat down on the shower bench and gently placed Nick in his lap. He held Nick close, speaking softly to reassure him that everything was okay. Nick's body went limp, and he stared off into space, his mind momentarily disconnected from his body. The attack passed, and Nick slowly came back to reality. He looked up at Max with a mixture of embarrassment and apology in his eyes. "I'm so sorry, Max," he whispered, his voice shaking. Max's expression softened, and he smiled reassuringly. "Don't you ever apologize for the way your body is," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "I love you so much. I love everything about you." As he spoke, Max began to kiss every part of Nick's body, starting with his hair. "I love your hair," he whispered, gently kissing Nick's locks. He kissed each of Nick's eyelids, "your eyes," and then his thighs, "your amazing thighs." Max's lips trailed down to Nick's face, where he kissed his nose, "your beautiful face," and then his chest, "your big heart." Max continued, his kisses covering Nick's body, "I love your amazing hips," he whispered, kissing Nick's hip. "I love your amazing ass," he said, kissing the side of Nick's buttocks. Nick rolled his eyes, but Max could see the vulnerability behind them. "Don't roll your eyes like you don't know it's true," Max said, his voice low and husky. "I love your amazing ears that turn red when I kiss you," he whispered, kissing the shell of Nick's ears. He kissed Nick's nipple, and then his dick, lightly, "I love your dick." As Max continued to kiss Nick's body, his words poured out like a declaration of love. "I love your personality, I love your arms," he kissed Nick's shoulders, "and your legs," he kissed both of Nick's legs. "I love your jawline," he kissed Nick's jawline, "I love the face you make when you get hard when I hold you, I love the little moan you do when I kiss you deeply." Max's kisses slowed, and he looked into Nick's eyes, his own shining with love and adoration. "And I love you," he whispered. "Okay? Don't you ever ever apologize for something you can't control, okay? You are so so so amazing in every way, shape, and form. Whether you're flustered or worn out or upset or mad or happy or scared or speaking Spanish to your brothers. I love you so so so much, Nicholas. You don't know how much I love you." Nick's eyes welled up with tears as he looked at Max, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude. He knew he was lucky to have Max by his side, to have someone who loved him unconditionally, cataplexy attacks and all. As they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, Nick knew that he was home, and that with Max, he could face anything life threw their way.
