**Entrapped**
Part 5
I struggled to break free from Ethan's grasp, but he only held me tighter. Panic set in as I realized the true extent of his intentions. The holes in the condoms, the determined look in his eyes - it all made sense now. He wasn't just trying to get me pregnant; he was trying to trap me into a relationship with no escape. I tried to reason with him, to appeal to whatever sanity was left in him. "Ethan, stop this. You're scaring me." But my words fell on deaf ears. He just kept whispering, his voice a menacing chant in my ear. "You're going to be mine, Emily. Mine." I remembered the way he had spoken about his ex-wife, the way he had hung up the phone with a look of determination. I had thought he was just upset, but now I realized that he was driven by a deeper obsession. He wasn't just trying to protect our relationship; he was trying to control me. As I looked around the apartment, I realized that I was trapped. The door was locked, and the windows were too high to reach. I was at Ethan's mercy, and that thought sent a chill down my spine. With a surge of adrenaline, I managed to wriggle free from Ethan's grasp. I backed away from him, my eyes fixed on the door. "I'm leaving," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. But Ethan was too quick. He lunged at me, his hands grasping for my arms. I dodged him, but he was relentless. He chased me around the apartment, his footsteps pounding the floor. I reached the door and flung it open, but Ethan was right behind me. He grabbed my arm, spinning me around to face him. For a moment, we just stared at each other, our chests heaving with exertion. And then, in a flash of inspiration, I did the only thing I could think of. I raised my knee, connecting it with Ethan's stomach. He doubled over, gasping for breath, and I took advantage of the momentary distraction. I broke free, sprinting down the hallway as fast as I could. I didn't dare look back, fearing what I might see. I just kept running, my heart pounding in my chest. Finally, I reached the lobby and burst through the front doors. I emerged onto the sidewalk, gasping for air. I looked around, taking in the familiar sights and sounds of the city. I was safe, for now. But as I pulled out my phone to call a taxi, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Ethan would stop at nothing to get me back. And that thought sent a shiver down my spine.
