"Dorm Life and Room Revelations"

Part 21

As I settled into my new room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. Osby, my chatty shadow, and I had just finished getting to know each other, and I was eager to explore the rest of the dorm. I grabbed my phone and headed out to the common room, where I assumed everyone would be hanging out. As I walked in, I was greeted by a lively atmosphere. Everyone was chatting, laughing, and having a great time. Mina caught my eye and waved me over. "Hey guys, why don't we have a competition?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. I raised an eyebrow. "Sure, what is it?" Mina grinned. "I'm glad you asked, Vesper! It's about our rooms. We'll see who has the best room!" The room fell silent for a moment, and then everyone erupted into cheers and applause. I couldn't help but laugh. "That sounds like a great idea!" We all agreed to start the competition, and Deku volunteered to go first. His room was just down the hall from mine, and I was curious to see what it was like. As we entered his room, I was immediately struck by the sheer amount of All Might memorabilia. There were posters, action figures, and even a giant All Might plushie on his bed. Mina let out a squeal of delight. "Wow, Deku, your room is amazing!" Ochaco, however, just rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Typical otaku," she teased, making Deku's face turn bright red. I thought Deku's room was nice, though. It was clear that he was a huge fan of All Might, and it was sweet to see him express that so openly. "I think it's nice, Deku," I said, trying to reassure him. Deku smiled, looking relieved. "Thanks, Vesper." Next up was Ayoma's room, and I was a little apprehensive. I had heard rumors that his room was...unconventional. As we entered his room, I was immediately blinded by the sheer amount of sparkle and glitter. There was a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, and mirrors everywhere. The room was like a glittery cave, and it hurt my eyes to look around. Ayoma grinned, clearly proud of his room. "What do you think?" he asked, striking a pose. I blinked, trying to take it all in. It was definitely...eye-catching. I wasn't sure if I would want to spend a lot of time in there, but it was certainly unique. As we continued the competition, I couldn't help but wonder what other surprises the other rooms would hold. Would anyone be able to top Ayoma's sparkly extravaganza? Only time would tell.
