## Chapter 2: The Obsession

Part 2

The darkness of the van was suffocating, the only sound the hum of the engine and the occasional beep of a notification on the kidnapper's phone. Simon, Willie, Felice, Sara, and August were all trying to process what had just happened, but their minds were racing with fear and uncertainty. The kidnapper, still wearing his black hoodie and mask, leaned in close, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. "You've all been so careful, so perfect, for so long," he repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "But I've been watching, and I know all about your little secrets. And now, it's time to share them with the world." As he spoke, he pulled out a laptop and began to show them a collection of videos and photos. They were all embarrassing moments from their past, things they had thought were private but were now being displayed for the world to see. Simon felt a wave of nausea wash over him as he saw a video of himself and his friends at a party, doing things they shouldn't have been doing. The kidnapper's eyes locked onto Simon's, and he could see the obsession there, the fixation that bordered on madness. "I've been watching you, Simon," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I've been watching you for months, ever since your friend Willie joined the school. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first, but then I saw the way you commanded attention, the way you charmed everyone around you. And I was hooked." Simon felt a chill run down his spine as the kidnapper continued to talk. He had no idea who this person was or what he wanted, but he knew he had to try and stay calm. The kidnapper seemed to be enjoying this, reveling in their fear and discomfort. As the kidnapper continued to taunt them, showing them more and more incriminating evidence, the group realized that they were in grave danger. They had no idea what the kidnapper wanted or what he planned to do with them, but they knew they had to try and escape. The live stream continued to rack up views, with fans of the show speculating about the identities of the kidnapped royals. Some people were outraged, demanding that the kidnapper be caught and punished. Others were morbidly fascinated, tuning in to see more of the embarrassing moments from the group's past. As the hours ticked by, the group's anxiety grew. They knew they had to try and find a way out of this situation, but they had no idea where to start. The kidnapper seemed to be always one step ahead of them, and they were at his mercy. The van finally stopped, and the kidnapper got out, pulling them out with him. They found themselves in a dimly lit room, with no windows and only one door. The kidnapper locked the door behind them, and they were plunged into darkness. The kidnapper's voice came from the shadows, taunting them once again. "You'll be staying here for a while," he said. "And during that time, I'll be sharing more and more of your secrets with the world. You should have thought of that before you did all the things you did." As the darkness closed in around them, the group knew they had to try and find a way out. But for now, they were trapped, at the mercy of a kidnapper who seemed to take pleasure in their misery.
