"Unspoken Truths"
Part 3
Ryah's face burned with embarrassment as Silky's words hung in the air, and she couldn't help but feel like she'd been caught in a lie. She tried to play it cool, but her eyes darted around the room, avoiding the gazes of the three people in front of her. Jason and Adapt were watching her with sympathetic expressions, while Silky's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Look, Ryah, let's just talk about this," Silky said, his voice gentle but firm. "You came to my room for a reason, and I think we both know what that reason is." He took a step closer to her, his eyes locked onto hers. "You have feelings for me, don't you?" Ryah's heart skipped a beat as she felt her face grow even hotter. She tried to deny it, but her voice caught in her throat. Silky's smile grew wider, and he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind her ear. "Ryah, I value you as a friend, and I care about you deeply," he said, his voice low and soothing. "But I need to be honest with you - my heart belongs to Jason and Adapt. We're happy together, and I don't feel the same way about you." Ryah felt a pang of disappointment, but she tried to hide it behind a mask of acceptance. She nodded, trying to play it cool, but her eyes stung with unshed tears. She turned away, trying to compose herself, but Silky's voice stopped her. "Ryah, wait," he said, his voice soft. "I want you to know that I appreciate your feelings, and I'm flattered that you would consider me in that way. But I think it's time for us to move forward, and for you to focus on finding someone who feels the same way about you." Ryah took a deep breath, feeling a sense of resolve wash over her. She turned back to Silky, a small smile on her face. "You're right," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I deserve better than to pine after someone who doesn't feel the same way. I'll try to move on." Silky's face lit up with a warm smile, and he opened his arms, pulling Ryah into a gentle hug. "I'm glad we had this talk, Ryah," he said, his voice muffled against her shoulder. "I think we're going to be just fine." As Ryah hugged Silky back, she felt a sense of closure wash over her. She knew it wouldn't be easy to move on, but she was determined to find someone who loved her for who she was. And as she pulled back, she caught Jason and Adapt watching her with warm smiles, she felt a sense of gratitude towards them for being a part of Silky's life, and for being such supportive partners.
