Chapter 4: Flirting and Infatuation

Part 4

As I strolled through the courtyard, the warm sunlight casting a gentle glow on my skin, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. The sweet scent of blooming flowers wafted through the air, mingling with the sound of chatter and laughter from my classmates. Todoroki Shouto's striking features and piercing blue eyes still lingered in my mind, and I found myself wondering what it would be like to get to know him better. Osby, my shadow, whispered in my ear, "Ah, you're thinking about Todoroki-kun again. He is definitely interested in you." I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious, but couldn't help but smile. I had a lot to learn about the school and its students, but I was eager to dive in. As I walked, I noticed Kaminari Denki approaching me, a goofy grin on his face. "Hey, I'm Kaminari Denki! I'm in Class 1-A, just like Todoroki." I smiled at him, feeling a little more at ease. "Hi, Kaminari-kun." He winked at me. "Hey, call me Denki, okay? We're going to be friends, I can tell." I laughed, feeling a little more comfortable. But then, Mineta Rinindo, another student in my class, approached me, his eyes shining with excitement. "Hi, I'm Mineta Rinindo! I'm so glad you're in our class. You're really cute, and I just know we're going to get along great." I smiled politely, but I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. There was something about Mineta that didn't quite sit right with me. Osby whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I've got your back. We'll get through this together." I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards my shadow. As I continued to get to know my classmates, I realized that I was surrounded by talented and interesting students. There was Kirishima Eijiro, the charming and confident student who seemed to take an instant liking to me. As we chatted, Kirishima's eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled, and his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. Osby whispered in my ear, "Ah, you're interested in Kirishima-kun. He's definitely a catch." I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious. Kaminari, who was standing nearby, chuckled and nudged me playfully. "Hey, Kirishima-kun's a great guy, but don't forget about me! I'm the one with the electric powers, you know." I laughed, feeling a spark of attraction towards Kaminari's charming and carefree nature. As I talked to Kirishima and Kaminari, I couldn't help but notice the way they interacted with each other, their easy camaraderie and banter making me feel more at ease. But then, I caught sight of Dabi, Shigaraki, Overhaul, and Toga watching me again, their eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. I knew that I had to be careful around them, and I made a mental note to steer clear of them for now. The air seemed to thicken with tension as I gazed at the villains, my heart beating just a little bit faster. Osby whispered in my ear, "Be careful, they're not like the other students. They have ulterior motives." I nodded, my senses on high alert. As the day drew to a close, I realized that I had a lot to learn about my classmates and the school. But I was eager to dive in, and I knew that Osby would be by my side every step of the way. With a sense of determination, I walked back to the dormitory, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. As I entered my room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. What would the future hold for me at U.A. High School? And which of my classmates would I find myself drawn to? Only time would tell, but I was ready to take on whatever came my way.
