**The Unlikely Duos**

Part 1

Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, swung through the concrete jungle with ease, his Spider-Sense on high alert as he scanned the crowded streets of Manhattan. But today, he wasn't on patrol. Today, he was on a mission to show his new friend, Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, the ropes. As he landed on the rooftop of a high-rise building, he grinned, seeing Johnny waiting for him, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Hey, Spidey! What's the plan?" Johnny asked, his iconic flame-patterned costume gleaming in the sunlight. Peter chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, I was thinking we could grab some lunch at Joe's Pizza, and then I could show you around the city. Maybe take in some of the sights?" Johnny's face lit up. "That sounds awesome, but how are we going to get around? I'm not exactly... stealthy." Peter laughed. "Don't worry, I've got an idea." He offered Johnny a hand, and to his surprise, Johnny took it, allowing Peter to pull him onto his shoulders. "Whoa, you're strong!" Johnny exclaimed, settling into his new perch. Peter grinned, feeling a bit self-conscious but also excited to show off his city. "Just a little Spider-Man trick I learned." As they set off, Peter couldn't help but feel a bit like a taxi service, but Johnny's infectious laughter and constant chatter made the experience enjoyable. They navigated through the crowded sidewalks, with Peter dodging pedestrians and cars while keeping Johnny balanced on his shoulders. Their first stop was the iconic Times Square, where Johnny promptly drew a crowd with his flames and charismatic personality. Peter watched with a smile as Johnny worked the crowd, signing autographs and taking selfies with fans. Next, they headed to Central Park, where Johnny insisted on playing a game of "dodge the squirrels" while Peter tried to keep him upright. The afternoon was filled with laughter, excitement, and a few close calls, but Peter was happy to oblige Johnny's requests, enjoying the chance to show off his city. However, as the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Peter started to realize that carrying Johnny around wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. For one, Johnny's flames kept attracting attention, and Peter had to use his agility to dodge curious onlookers and overzealous paparazzi. Additionally, Johnny's tendency to get overexcited and accidentally set things ablaze was starting to become a problem. As they stopped to take in the view of the Hudson River, Johnny turned to Peter with a mischievous grin. "You know, Spidey, I'm having the time of my life. But I have to ask... how much longer are you going to carry me around?" Peter chuckled, feeling a bit worn out but also happy to have Johnny as a friend. "Well, that's up to you, Torch. How much longer do you want me to carry you around?" Johnny's grin widened. "As long as you can keep up, Spidey. As long as you can keep up." Peter smiled, shaking his head. He had a feeling that this was just the beginning of a wild and unforgettable adventure.
