"Truth Hurts"
Part 1
The grand living room of the Faze house was filled with laughter and the occasional shout as the group of friends played their favorite game, truth or drink. The L-shaped couch was packed with Jason, Ron, Lacy, Max, Silky, Adapt, and Rage, all trying to outdo each other with their answers. The air was thick with the smell of pizza and beer, and the dim lighting made everyone look a little more relaxed than they probably should be. It had been a while since they'd started playing, and the alcohol was beginning to take its toll. Jason, the shortest member of the group, sat with a goofy grin on his face, his short, fluffy bleach-dyed hair sticking up in every direction. His brown eyes sparkled with mischief as he tossed back his drink, his pale skin looking even paler under the dim lighting. He was a little chubby, but it was all in the right places, and he often used his humor to deflect from his appearance. As the game continued, it was Jason's turn again. Lacy, with his self-deprecating humor, asked Jason, "Truth or drink?" Jason hesitated, rubbing his temples. He wasn't feeling great, and the last thing he wanted to do was drink more. But he also didn't want to lie, not this time. "Truth," he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. The group leaned in, eager to hear his answer. Lacy asked, "Have you slept with more than one person before?" Jason took a deep breath and nodded, a mixture of relief and anxiety washing over him. The group chuckled, and Ron high-fived him. But then Lacy asked, "Who?" Jason's eyes widened, and he looked around the room, hoping to deflect the question. But there was no escape. He shrugged and muttered, "My ex-girlfriend and...someone else." The group raised an eyebrow, intrigued. Silky, with his thin, medium-length dreads, spoke up, "Who's the someone else?" Jason's eyes darted around the room, and for a moment, he seemed frozen. The room fell silent, except for the sound of the TV in the background. "My teacher," Jason said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. The room erupted into laughter, but Jason's face fell. Silky shouted, "Your teacher?" and burst into laughter. Jason's eyes began to well up, and he looked like he was about to snap. Ron, who had been watching Jason's reaction, quickly realized something was wrong. Jason wasn't laughing, and his expression was far from joking. Ron's face turned serious, and he said, "Silky, knock it off." The room fell silent, and all eyes were on Jason. Rage, trying to lighten the mood, asked, "Was she hot?" Jason's eyes locked onto Rage's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, in a flat, emotionless tone, Jason said, "He raped me." The room fell silent, and the only sound was the hum of the TV. Ron was the first to react, quickly getting up and wrapping Jason in a tight hug. Adapt muttered curses under his breath, while Max's face turned into a mask of anger. Silky's laughter died on his lips, and he looked at Jason with a mixture of shock and regret. As the room sat in stunned silence, it was clear that the game had taken a dark and unexpected turn. The question was, what would happen next?
