A Conversation with Lev
Part 3
Abby had been thinking about her future with Ellie a lot lately, and one of the things she couldn't help but wonder about was starting a family together. As she walked into the coffee shop to meet Lev, she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Lev was her best friend and confidant, and she knew she could trust him with her deepest thoughts. As she spotted Lev sitting at a table, sipping on a latte, Abby made her way over to him. "Hey, Lev! Thanks for meeting me," she said, giving him a hug. Lev smiled and gestured for her to sit down. "Of course, Abs. What's on your mind? You sounded a bit preoccupied on the phone." Abby took a deep breath and dove right in. "I was thinking about Ellie and me, and our future together. I was wondering if you think we'd make good parents." Lev's expression turned thoughtful, and he set his cup down. "That's a big question, Abs. But I think you and Ellie would be amazing parents. You're both so loving and caring, and you have a great relationship with JJ already." Abby nodded, feeling a sense of relief. "Yeah, I know we get along great with JJ, but it's different when it's your own kid. I was thinking about how much I want to have a child with Ellie, and I was wondering if you think it's something we should consider." Lev leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers. "I think it's something you should definitely talk to Ellie about, Abs. But if I'm being honest, I think you two would be great parents. You're both so committed to each other and to JJ, and I think that would translate well to having a child of your own." Abby felt a surge of excitement at Lev's words. She had been thinking about this a lot, and it was nice to have someone else's perspective. "Do you think Ellie would be open to it?" she asked, feeling a bit uncertain. Lev shrugged. "I don't know, Abs. But I do know that Ellie loves you deeply, and she wants to make you happy. If you're open and honest with her about your desires, I'm sure she'll listen and consider them." Abby nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was going to talk to Ellie about this, and see where things went. She was excited at the prospect of starting a family with the woman she loved. As they chatted more about their plans and aspirations, Abby couldn't help but feel grateful for Lev's insight and support. She knew she could always count on him to be honest with her, and she appreciated his willingness to listen and offer advice. With a newfound sense of confidence, Abby left the coffee shop feeling more determined than ever to talk to Ellie about her dreams of starting a family. She knew it wouldn't be an easy conversation, but she was ready to take the leap and see where it would take her.
