"A New Awakening"

Nene's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. She blinked rapidly, trying to shake off the haze that clouded her mind. It took her a moment to realize that she was in her own bed, surrounded by her own belongings. A wave of relief washed over her as she sat up, her heart still racing from the vivid dream she had just woken up from. It was all a dream. She felt a mix of emotions: shock, relief, and a hint of disappointment. The dream had felt so real, so intense. She could still feel the twins' arms around her, still feel their warmth and love. She shook her head, trying to clear the lingering fogginess. As she swung her legs over the side of the bed, her phone on the nightstand suddenly rang, shrill and insistent. Nene picked it up, and her eyes widened as she saw the time: 3 pm. She had slept for hours. She glanced at her phone's screen and saw that she had multiple notifications from a group chat with Kou, Mitsuba, Yugi, Aoi, and others. They were all repeatedly @ing her, trying to get her attention. Nene's fingers hesitated over the keyboard before she slowly began to type. "hello... um... yeah... *exists*" The gibberish was enough to let them know she was there, and a flurry of responses quickly followed. Kou's name popped up, and his message made her smile. "hey everyone! now that nene's online, was thinking... do we all wanna hang out at my house? we can order some food and just chill" The group chat erupted into a lively discussion, with everyone weighing in on the idea. Nene's fingers hovered over the keyboard, hesitating for a moment before she decided to join in. She typed out a response, her thumbs flying across the screen. "yeah... sure... sounds good" As she hit send, a sense of excitement and normalcy washed over her. It was just a typical day, with her friends and nothing to worry about. The dream was just that – a dream. And she was grateful to be back in reality.
