Tensions and Confessions
Part 181
Bakugo's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing as he searched mine. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice low and rough, like a challenge. I felt a flutter in my chest, my heart racing with anticipation. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. "I'm sorry for this," I whispered, my voice barely audible. Bakugo's expression softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's fine," he responded, his voice gentler than I expected. The room around us seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of us, suspended in a bubble of tension and uncertainty. Todoroki, who had been watching us with an intensity that made me shiver, stepped forward, his eyes flashing with a mixture of curiosity and concern. Mina, who had been quietly observing the exchange, spoke up, her voice filled with excitement. "Okay, this is getting interesting! Bakugo, are you going to confess your feelings or what?" Bakugo's face twisted into a scowl, but I could see a hint of a blush rising to his cheeks. He looked away, trying to play it cool, but I could sense the vulnerability beneath his tough exterior. I took a step closer to him, my voice barely above a whisper. "Bakugo-kun, it's okay. You don't have to-" But before I could finish, Bakugo cut me off, his voice rough and urgent. "Just...just listen to me, okay?" I nodded, my heart racing with anticipation. What was Bakugo going to say? Was he going to confess his feelings, or was this just a test of my reactions? I leaned in, my ears straining to hear his words. The room was silent, waiting with bated breath for Bakugo's next move. Todoroki's eyes never left mine, his gaze burning with an intensity that made me shiver. I could sense the weight of their expectations, the anticipation building like a storm about to break. And then, Bakugo took a deep breath, his eyes locked on mine, and began to speak.
