"Trapped in His Web"
Part 7
Charlie's hands trembled as she dialed Travis's number, her mind racing with the conversation she had just had with Sarah. She had thought she knew Travis, but now she wasn't so sure. As the phone rang, Charlie's anxiety grew, but she knew she had to talk to him. Travis answered on the first ring, his voice smooth and charming. "Hey, what's up?" he asked, his tone making Charlie feel like she was the only person in the world. "I need to talk to you," Charlie said, trying to sound calm. "Come over," Travis replied, his voice filled with confidence. "We can talk about it here." Charlie hesitated for a moment, but something about Travis's tone put her at ease. She agreed to come over, and as she hung up the phone, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was walking into a trap. As she arrived at Travis's house, Charlie felt a sense of unease. She had been here before, but tonight it felt different. The air seemed thicker, and the shadows seemed to move of their own accord. Travis greeted her at the door, his eyes locked on hers as he pulled her into a hug. "I'm glad you're here," he said, his voice low and husky. Charlie tried to pull back, but Travis held her close, his arms wrapping around her like a vice. "I think we need to talk about us," she said, trying to sound firm. Travis's expression changed, his eyes clouding over for a moment before he smiled. "Of course, we can talk about anything," he said, his voice dripping with charm. "But first, let's get comfortable." Charlie felt a sense of resistance, but Travis's charm was like a spell that she couldn't break. He led her to the couch, and before she knew it, they were kissing, their bodies entwined. As they made love, Charlie felt like she was losing herself, like she was drowning in Travis's eyes. And when he came inside her, just for a moment, before pulling out, Charlie didn't even notice. She was too caught up in the moment, too caught up in Travis's web. As they lay there, Travis's arms wrapped around her, Charlie felt a sense of peace wash over her. She thought that she had made up her mind to end things with him, but now she wasn't so sure. Travis seemed to sense her uncertainty, and his grip on her tightened. He knew that he had to keep her close, to trap her in the relationship, or he would lose her. And as he held her, he knew that he would do anything to keep her from leaving. As the night wore on, Charlie drifted off to sleep, Travis's arms still wrapped around her. She had no idea what she had just gotten herself into, no idea that she was now more trapped than ever.
