A New Life Unfolds

Part 2

The first day of school had finally arrived, and I was bursting with excitement. I put on my uniform, a bright yellow dress with a white blouse underneath, and grabbed my bag. My parents walked me to school, giving me a final goodbye kiss before I stepped into the classroom. As I looked around, I saw a sea of unfamiliar faces. The classroom was filled with children chattering excitedly, and I spotted a boy with messy black hair and a bright smile. He was sitting at a desk, looking a bit nervous. I noticed his friend, a boy with spiky orange hair, teasing him. The orange-haired boy said, "Hey, Deku, what's wrong? Can't even make friends on your first day?" The black-haired boy looked embarrassed, and I felt a pang of sympathy for him. I walked over to them, my curiosity getting the better of me. "Hi, my name's Vesper, what's yours?" I asked cheerfully. The black-haired boy looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. "My name's Izuku!" he said, blushing. I smiled at him, and then turned to the orange-haired boy. "And you are...?" I asked. The orange-haired boy grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "My name's Bakugo!" he said, his voice booming across the room. I giggled at his bold introduction, and the three of us started chatting. We exchanged stories, played together during recess, and before I knew it, we were inseparable. A month went by, and we became the best of friends. Bakugo was always energetic and confident, Izuku was kind and gentle, and I was... well, I was still figuring out who I was. One day, Bakugo suddenly woke up with a Quirk. He was over the moon with excitement, and his personality changed overnight. He became more arrogant, more aggressive, and sometimes downright rude. I tried to brush it off, thinking that he was just adjusting to his new powers. But one day, I saw him bullying Izuku. Bakugo was taunting him, pushing him around, and Izuku looked like he was about to cry. My heart racing, I stepped in, my voice firm. "Stop! Don't hurt Izuku!" I said, my eyes locked on Bakugo. Bakugo turned to me, his eyes flashing with anger. But then, he seemed to pause, taken aback by my words. Izuku looked up at me, his eyes filled with gratitude. For a moment, Bakugo just stared at me. Then, he looked away, his expression softening slightly. "Shut up, Vesper," he muttered, but he backed off, leaving Izuku alone. Izuku smiled weakly at me, and I smiled back, feeling a sense of pride and protectiveness towards my friend. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of our adventures together.
