**Chapter 8: Safe Haven**

Part 8

As the rental car sped away from the curb, Jason felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally safe, surrounded by the people he trusted most. The Faze crew drove in silence for a while, the only sound the hum of the engine, until Silky spoke up. "Where are we headed?" he asked, his voice directed at Rage, who was behind the wheel. Rage glanced at him in the rearview mirror. "I was thinking we could head back to the hotel. We can regroup and figure out our next move." The others nodded in agreement, and Rage adjusted the GPS accordingly. As they drove, Jason couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. He kept looking over his shoulder, expecting to see MrBeast's sinister grin staring back at him. Max, sensing Jason's unease, reached out and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Hey, we're not going to let him catch up to us. We're safe now." Jason nodded, trying to calm down. He knew Max was right, but he couldn't shake off the feeling of vulnerability. As they approached the hotel, Jason's anxiety spiked. What if MrBeast had already tracked them down? What if he was waiting for them? But as they pulled up to the hotel entrance, Jason saw that it was quiet and peaceful. He let out a sigh of relief as they piled out of the car and made their way inside. The hotel lobby was bustling with people, but Jason's eyes scanned the room, searching for any sign of MrBeast. He didn't see him, and a sense of relief washed over him. The Faze crew made their way to the elevators, and as they stepped inside, Jason felt a sense of safety wash over him. They were together, and they would face whatever came next as a team. As the elevator doors closed, Jason leaned against the wall, his eyes closed. He was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. He knew he needed to talk to someone, to process what had just happened. Silky, sensing Jason's distress, stepped forward and wrapped his arms around him. "Hey, it's okay," he whispered. "We're here for you. We'll get through this together." Jason nodded, feeling a lump form in his throat. He knew he was lucky to have the Faze crew by his side. They were his safe haven, his support system. As the elevator doors opened, the Faze crew piled out, their faces etched with concern. Jason took a deep breath, steeling himself for what came next. He knew that MrBeast wouldn't give up easily, but with the Faze crew by his side, he felt like he could face anything. The group made their way to their room, determined to come up with a plan to keep Jason safe. As they entered the room, Jason felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally safe, surrounded by the people he trusted most. But as he looked around the room, he noticed something that made his heart skip a beat. A small note on the bed, with a message scrawled on it in red ink: "I'll find you."
