Heroic Confrontations

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. As I got out of bed, I noticed Osby already up and getting ready. "Good morning," he said with a smile. I replied in kind and we headed to the hero suit storage room. As we entered the storage room, I was greeted by the familiar sight of rows of hero suits hanging on the walls. Kirishima, who was already suited up, approached me with a big grin on his face. "Vesper, you look amazing in your hero suit!" he exclaimed. I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious, but couldn't help smiling at the compliment. Just then, Aizawa Sensei walked into the room, his eyes scanning the area. "Alright, students. Today we're going to do some training. You'll be divided into teams and will have to work together to take down the opposing team." He paused, surveying the room. "Teams will be as follows: Deku and Ochaco, Bakugo and Ida, Todoroki and Shoji, and Ojiro and Vesper." I exchanged a nod with Ojiro, who was standing next to me. Deku and Ochaco were already chatting excitedly, while Bakugo and Ida were glaring at each other. Aizawa Sensei continued, "The objective of the training is to disable the opposing team's hero suit or capture their 'weapon'. The team that succeeds in doing so wins." As the teams were announced, the atmosphere in the room became tense. Deku and Ochaco were clearly excited to be working together, while Bakugo and Ida seemed to be relishing the opportunity to take them down. The training began, and we all moved to our designated areas. I watched as Deku and Ochaco faced off against Bakugo and Ida. The two teams charged at each other, their hero suits glowing with power. Bakugo and Deku clashed, their fists flying as they exchanged blows. Meanwhile, Ochaco used her Zero Gravity Quirk to float towards Ida, who was trying to keep his distance. But Ochaco was relentless, and she managed to grab onto Ida's arm. Ida tried to shake her off, but Ochaco held tight. Suddenly, she touched Ida's hero suit, and his suit's power flickered out. Ida stumbled backwards, and Deku took advantage of the opening to land a powerful blow. Bakugo snarled, but Deku and Ochaco were too strong. They managed to overpower Bakugo and Ida, and the two of them retreated, defeated. As I watched the fight, Ojiro turned to me and said, "Vesper, let's make a plan." I nodded, and we huddled together. "Okay, Todoroki will most likely immediately try to freeze us," I said, thinking quickly. "So, we should jump and stand our ground. I'll try to fight him while you go towards his weapon. No matter what happens to me, leave me. I'll be fine." Ojiro looked worried by my words, but he nodded in agreement. "Got it," he said, his eyes determined. I smiled, feeling a surge of confidence. We were ready to take on Todoroki and Shoji. Bring it on.
