**Chapter 4: The Countdown Begins**
Part 4
As the medical team began their tests, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. Dr. Taylor and her team were experts in their field, and I knew that they would take good care of me and the dragon eggs. Hange held my hand tightly, his eyes never leaving mine as the doctors and nurses moved around us. Dr. Taylor explained that they would need to perform a series of scans and checks to ensure that the eggs were developing properly. She reassured us that everything seemed normal so far, but that they would need to monitor the situation closely. As the tests continued, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building up inside me. I was going to be a mother to five little dragons! The thought sent shivers down my spine. I glanced over at Hange, who was watching me with a warm smile on his face. "We're really doing this, aren't we?" I whispered to him. Hange nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We sure are, my love. And we're going to be amazing parents." Dr. Taylor interrupted our moment, announcing that they had finished the tests and would need to review the results. She and her team disappeared into a small room off the hospital room, leaving Hange and me alone. The waiting was agonizing. Hange and I sat in silence, holding hands and watching the door to the small room. Finally, Dr. Taylor emerged with a smile on her face. "Everything looks great," she announced. "The eggs are developing at an incredible rate, and we're expecting them to hatch within the next 48 hours." I felt a surge of excitement and nervousness. 48 hours? That was sooner than I had expected. Hange squeezed my hand reassuringly. "We're ready," he whispered. "We'll be ready for whatever happens." Dr. Taylor nodded. "I'll be honest with you, this is uncharted territory. We've never had a case like this before. But we're going to do everything we can to ensure that you and the eggs receive the best care possible." As Dr. Taylor continued to explain the details of our care plan, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the miracle that was happening inside me. Five little dragons, each one unique and full of life. I glanced over at Hange, who was watching me with adoration. "We're in this together," I whispered to him. Hange nodded, his eyes never leaving mine. "Always." The next few hours passed in a blur of tests and preparations. Hange and I were shown a special nursery that had been set up for the eggs, complete with a state-of-the-art incubator and a team of trained medical professionals. As the sun began to set, Dr. Taylor came to visit us again. "We're getting close," she said. "The eggs are showing signs of hatching. We need to be prepared for anything." Hange and I exchanged a nervous glance. We were ready, but we knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible journey. We were about to become parents to five little dragons, and nothing would ever be the same again.
