"Escape and Elevation"

Part 20

"Osby, can you grab on to me, same with you Bakugo?" I asked, a plan forming in my mind. "Why?" Osby and Bakugo asked in unison, their voices laced with curiosity and a hint of concern. "I know what to do," I replied, trying to sound confident. "Osby, can you fly?" "Yeah," Osby responded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Okay, Bakugo, can you hold for a sec?" I asked, and without waiting for a response, Bakugo grabbed onto me, his arms wrapping tightly around my waist. "Alright, Osby, make me wings," I said, my heart racing with anticipation. "Okay," Osby said, his hands reaching out to grasp my arms. As soon as he did, I felt a surge of energy and Osby's body began to glow with a soft, white light. The light enveloped me and Bakugo, and I could feel myself lifting off the ground. Osby's wings, made of pure energy, began to take shape on either side of me, their forms shimmering and solidifying. "Whoa!" Bakugo exclaimed, his voice filled with surprise and a touch of fear. I grinned, feeling a rush of exhilaration. "Hold on, Bakugo!" I shouted, and with Osby's wings beating powerful and strong, we lifted off the ground and soared into the air. The wind rushed past us, whipping my hair back and forth as we flew down the corridor. I could hear the sound of Shigaraki's angry shouts and Dabi's flames growing fainter, but I didn't look back, my focus fixed on finding a safe place to land. As we flew, the corridors blurred together, a kaleidoscope of stone and steel. Osby's wings beat steadily, propelling us forward, and Bakugo's arms tightened around me, his face buried in my shoulder. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we emerged into a bright, open space. I looked around, taking in our surroundings, and saw that we were hovering above a small, secluded clearing. The air was fresh and clean, and the only sounds were the distant calls of birds. "Okay, Osby, let's land," I said, and with a gentle thud, we touched down on the soft grass. Bakugo let out a sigh of relief as he released his grip on me, his eyes scanning the surrounding area. "Where are we?" he asked, his voice still a little shaky. I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. "Somewhere safe," I replied, my eyes meeting Osby's. "For now, at least."
