**Chapter 6: Confrontation**
Part 6
The group's conversation was interrupted by Kai's furious expression as he stormed into the living room. "What the actual fuck happened?" he demanded, his voice loud and angry. Agent tried to calm him down, but Kai's gaze was fixed on Davis, who looked like he had seen a ghost. Davis took a step back, his eyes wide with fear. "I-I didn't mean to, Kai. It was an accident," he stammered. Kai's anger seemed to grow with each passing moment, and Agent tried to intervene. "Kai, calm down, it was an accident," Agent pleaded. "Davis didn't mean to push Ray. You know how it can be playing basketball, we all get competitive even you." But Kai wasn't having it. He was furious, and his anger seemed to be directed solely at Davis. "How do you 'accidentally' push someone?" he spat, his voice cold and menacing. Duke sighed and walked past Kai, heading to his room to calm down before things escalated further. The butler walked into the room, medical supplies in hand. "I've got the stuff you guys asked for," he said, his voice cheerful, but quickly faltered as he took in the scene before him. Kai's face was red with anger, and Davis looked like he was about to cry. Kai paused his attack on Davis and quickly walked to the butler, grabbing the supplies from his arms. "Thank you," he muttered, before practically sprinting up the stairs. As Kai disappeared upstairs, Agent turned to Davis, who was still standing frozen in the same spot. "Yo, you good man?" Agent asked, his voice concerned. Davis looked down at the floor, his hand on his swollen cheek. "I may have deserved it," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Agent put a hand on Davis's shoulder. "You didn't, Kai's just being a dick right now. I'll have our manager have a talk to him about it later." Meanwhile, upstairs in Kai's room, Ray was sitting on the bed, gently kicking his feet back and forth. Kai walked in and closed the door behind him. "Are you okay, are you sore anywhere?" Kai asked, his voice concerned. Ray nodded, and Kai sighed, relief washing over him. He examined Ray's wounds, his eyes narrowing as he took in the scrapes and bruises. Ray winced as Kai touched his face, but Kai just smiled softly. "I'm sorry this happened to you," Kai said, his voice gentle. Ray looked up at him, his beautiful brown eyes filled with understanding. "It's not your fault, Kai," Ray said, his voice soft. "It was an accident. I told you I was okay." Kai's expression softened, and he began to gently clean Ray's wounds with the medical supplies. As he worked, Ray winced occasionally, but Kai's gentle touch seemed to ease his pain. As Kai finished up, he sat back and admired his work with a proud smile. Ray smiled back, and Kai's heart skipped a beat. He loved the way Ray looked at him, with such trust and adoration. Without thinking, Kai leaned in and kissed Ray's forehead. Ray's eyes widened in surprise, and he blushed. Kai laughed softly and kissed him again. This time, Ray's eyes fluttered closed, and he leaned into the kiss. Kai's hands wandered, and he deepened the kiss. Ray's mouth was sweet, and Kai couldn't get enough. As they kissed, Kai's anger and frustration from earlier seemed to melt away, replaced by a sense of calm and happiness. He knew in that moment that he would do anything to protect and care for Ray.
