**Chapter 63: A Moment of Solace**

Part 63

The evening had drawn to a close, and Nene had headed home, still feeling a mix of emotions after her confession to the twins. The group had parted ways, with everyone going their separate directions, except for Mitsuba, who had tagged along with Kou. As they entered Kou's room, Mitsuba was already on his bed, scrolling through his phone with a look of intense focus. Kou walked over to his bed and flopped down on it with a loud "poof" sound, making Mitsuba look up from his screen. Mitsuba's eyes narrowed slightly, and he seemed to be gazing at Kou with a mixture of annoyance and distraction. Kou, however, was oblivious to Mitsuba's expression and asked, "Something wrong?" as he settled into his bed. Mitsuba stayed silent, his eyes drifting back to his phone. Kou raised an eyebrow, noticing that Mitsuba wasn't responding. "Hey, what's going on?" Kou asked again, this time with a bit more concern. Mitsuba finally put down his phone and let out a deep sigh. He seemed a bit pissed off about something, and Kou's curiosity was piqued. "It's embarrassing," Mitsuba began, his voice low and hesitant. Kou's eyes lit up with interest, and he propped himself up on his elbows. "What is it?" he asked, his voice gentle and encouraging. Mitsuba looked away, his face flushing slightly, and Kou could tell that whatever was bothering Mitsuba was really getting to him. The room fell silent, with only the sound of Mitsuba's heavy breathing breaking the stillness. Kou waited patiently for Mitsuba to open up, sensing that his friend was struggling with something that was clearly bothering him. As the silence stretched out, Kou couldn't help but wonder what was going on in Mitsuba's mind, and what had made him so upset.
