**Chapter 1: The New Girl**

Part 1

As the classroom door swung open, a hush fell over the room. All eyes turned to see who the new student was, and Kenzy's heart skipped a beat as she stepped inside. She had always been nervous on her first day of school, and this one was no exception. Her long, curly brown hair cascaded down her back, and her bright blue eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. Mrs. Johnson, the teacher, smiled warmly as she introduced the new student. "Class, this is Kenzy. She'll be joining our class today, so let's all make her feel welcome." The room erupted in a chorus of hellos and smiles, and Kenzy's cheeks flushed as she made her way to an empty seat. As she sat down, she couldn't help but notice the attention she was receiving from the guys in class. Whispers and stares followed her, and she felt a little self-conscious. But then her eyes met one pair that made her heart skip a beat. Levi, the school's star athlete and role model, was staring at her with an intensity that made her feel like he could see right through her. Levi was known for his chiseled good looks, charming smile, and impressive skills on the field. But he was also notorious for his bad boy reputation – the rumors of parties, pranks, and broken hearts followed him everywhere he went. Kenzy had heard stories about him, but she had never met him before. There was something about the way he looked at her that made her feel like he was different, like he saw something in her that no one else did. As their eyes met, Levi's gaze lingered for a moment before he looked away, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. Kenzy felt a flutter in her chest, and she quickly looked away, trying to focus on the lesson. But she couldn't shake the feeling that Levi's eyes had seen something in her that she hadn't even seen in herself. The rest of the class was a blur as Kenzy tried to concentrate on the lesson, but her mind kept wandering back to Levi. She wondered what he was like outside of school, what made him tick, and why he seemed to be staring at her like she was the only person in the room. As the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, Kenzy gathered her things and stood up, trying to blend in with the crowd. But as she turned to leave, she felt a tap on her shoulder. "Hey, I'm Levi," a deep voice said, and Kenzy turned to face him. "Hi," she replied, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in her stomach. Levi smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Welcome to our class. I hope you're doing okay." Kenzy nodded, feeling a little more at ease. "Yeah, thanks. So far, so good." Levi chuckled. "Well, if you need any help navigating the school, I'm your guy." Kenzy smiled, feeling a spark of attraction that she couldn't ignore. "I'll keep that in mind," she said, and Levi nodded before turning to walk away. As she watched him go, Kenzy couldn't help but wonder what she had just gotten herself into.
